have some nice Rays gt2s for sale that woul be sick on the silvia... My front suspension arms arrived today, so should have everythig fitted and the car on the ground this week-end. was hoping to have the engine assembled and fitted but have had an issue with valve spring retainers, so unless a replacement set arrives 2morro, the engine will probably go in next week.

hey Roy, i agree with Victory, the weight difference in the shafts will be compinsated for in the alloy hub assy. you may end up giving a kilo or two away in the centre but thats it. i couldnt tell you if the cradle assy was any heavier though. its difficult to weigh these big items, especially on bathroom scales.

Know i know why you are asking about those lights. Let me know if your interested mate, there are 5 of the big ones and a heap of twin fluros. i never needed them.

17x7 + 29 with Falken Azenis 225/40r17 17x8 + 29 with Nakang 245/40r17 Rims were seperated, outers were high speed polished, inners were sand blasted and two-packed black. Tyres are brand new, rims and tyres never driven on. Perfect for club car or track days. Will suit S13 to R32 5 stud. Asking $1600 complete. Will seperate. but Azenis are worth $330ea. recieved the best news ever today, my cylinder heads are ready. measured piston to cylinder head clearance and found we have to run a slightly thicker head gasket. cc'd the head and worked out comp will be around 11:1 if we deck 20thou of the head while still maintaining 80 thou piston to valve clearance. should have everything ready for assembly tomorro night.

i agree to a certain degree, it has taken the RB series engine alot longer to be appreciated by the australian public, and lets face it, the 25 & 26 heads dont need much work. can get the engines humming in standard form where as ford and holden engines require all the help they can get as the R&D wasnt there from factory where as Nissan did a good job out of the box. Id reckon in Japan there would be some cylinder head gurus....but it is definately a good thing that it is beccoming a more common occurance here now.

Morten, what is the oil filter location on the new oil pan, mine is up the front on the passenger side. i am interested in getting a pan but need to know where to plumb too.

it depends on those that are doing stuff for me, example wiring, exhaust. i could have it together in a couple of days. but still no cylinder heads. also waiting for a few front suspension bushes, so probably a month off.

recieved rear hub bushes and sway bar, so can at least get the rear end together this week. ill post pics when completed.

wtf would you need cam cap studs? if you have a cam trying to push through the caps you have serious problems
