  1. Great build , i'll be keeping an eye on this
  2. Isn't there a solenoid down on the steering box that restricts the oil flow? . When you took out all of the hicas lines , did you loop the lines or block them? . What power steering pump are you using? . S14 rack with R33 pump is usually the best way to get rid of all the hicas crap or search for r32 non turbo stuff (non hicas)
  3. Yeah it's ok but i have another 32 with a 4.3 , makes them heaps more lively! . Definitely a shim Hehe , the guy that owned it at the time was having issues with it single pegging , so i made sure it didn't!
  4. K4N3 , You would be better off getting a 20 loom , or sell your 20 and buy a 25! . Was your cefiro a factory 25?
  5. Some one else with brown trim! I have a green 32 sedan atm with that colour trim , it's , different . What offset are your wheels Kris? , i can fit pretty low offset rims on mine with no scrubbing issues , mine are 'flared' , but i didn't think it was much.
  6. what happens when you're flaring guards , the problem is , when you stretch the guards , you're doing exactly that , so something has to give . If you look at the furthest point outwards of the flare , that's also the deepest point of the dent , to stop this you need to heat your guards as much as you can without burning the paint and find ways to hold the panel as it starts to shrink/dent . Another big no no is trying to push it out too far too soon , you have to do it in stages when going that far , and it can take ages
  7. I have a 32 4d that came with a 3.9 silvia diff , i put a 4.08 in it but it just doesn't feel snappy like it should , not as bad as i thought a 20 would be with a longer diff ratio . The diff in that 33 has been shimmed (by me lol) , that car had a few goodies on it last time i saw it ,gt3082 , my hks manifold , twin plate clutch and a couple other bits
  8. Rule number one with modified cars , if you didn't fit it and you're not 100% sure it's what it's supposed to be , check it to be sure. Gtr injectors on a 25 is interesting , it would be more expensive to buy and make fit than half the brand name injectors
  9. Ahh , now i know the one , 2 shades of blue , one of black? . The diff is an auto 4.3? I do need one of them! I can swap for a 4.11 if you still need a diff?
  10. Cheers , was looking for a standard rear bar , guessing you don't have one of them ( they're different to 2 door) , all good , was this car the one that had the rb30 in it?
  11. Still chasing a 4.3 diff if anyone has one?
  12. In my vague memory of last time i went hunting for a steering rack , they are all the same except for where the lines bolt into the rack . A very common conversion is to put an s14 steering rack in . Last time i put an s13 rack in my non hicas c33 (which are the same as cefiro) . However , i tried to fit the pressure line from a non hicas cefiro onto a non hicas r32 , the entry point of the line into the rack was different . Going from what i've been told , hicas racks have extra lines for the four wheel steering . I hope this helps
  13. Im keen (and from tas lol) ,was that posted to north or south tas? . So $450 on my doorstep? (i'll take it if you can wait till Friday for payment?) edit , i'll take the latch too!
  14. Being front wheel drive i wouldn't think they would fit , r32/s13 are a direct replacement in memory , watch out for hicas and non hicas too , pretty sure they were different
  15. That's a hypergear , not gcg . I will change my statement , just for you my good friend , i have never seen a gcg high flowed turbo make full boost under 4k . That's pretty good old mate , even my old 2530 didn't make that by then!
  16. Ok i need to get some stuff out of my shed (or work shed to be precise) , i have no where to put it so : Rb26 td05 16g turbo kit , comes with stainless manifold , 2 turbos and dump pipe , all it needs to be running on your car is - wastegate , oil lines and gaskets . $700 r32 gtr pair of rims , tyres are no good $200 R32 calipers and rotors , $250? 17" Buddy club p1 set of four , one odd width , doesn't affect tyre height , $650 (tyres are pretty close to the wear limit) 17" Sparco wheels , 8" front 9" rear , very light wheel , $800 with all new tyres , $400 without tyres (can probably find some old tyres but they wouldn't be road legal) . R32 sedan , turbo , manual , a few mods , effing tidy car , one of , if not , THE nicest 32 i've ever driven , $8,500 pretty firm 4.08 r200 lsd , has a whine on decell, lsd is good , i was told it was freshly rebuilt (new bearings i assume) $150 3.9 r200 lsd , would be perfect for 2530 r32 , very good condition , $200 I have more stuff i will add as i remember
  17. Ahh yep , well , tune , cam gears etc . It will never make full boost under 4k with that turbo (nor will most after market turbos)
  18. ^^ im sure you would lol. The most fun to drive rb20 i've ever been in had a standard turbo , it was rather stripped of anything that wasn't necessary . People place too much emphasis on bigger turbos and expensive things to make their car faster , without doing the easy free stuff first! . I remember an interview with the late peter Brock and listening to him explain how he took like 30kg out of his Torana just by shaving all the excess off every bolt on his car ... My point being , that turbo has probably made your car slower over all , what hyper gear said about rb20 being similar to Sr is somewhat true , for street duties i don't think you would find much better than a 2871r or high flowed std 20 turbo .
  19. about 2 weeks to tas 'greensa14' , i really should pull my finger out and fit all my shit to my car
