^ yep thats correct, clear case with stock camgears = gh3y. psiparts sell the clear ones but i dont want the clear ones (espeically not for $149 + delivery), i want a black one so i can get it painted to match my rocker covers. i had a look ar both the rb25det & rb25de timing covers side by side and theyre pretty much identicle so i think im good to purcahse and it should fit up no worries.

i agree with 1400R, led lights with stock taillight covers loook sexy!!!!!

if i had a choice between these & LEDs, id go LEDs. but nothing beats stock =)

you need to get a thread adaptor thing to make it longer. heres the link to it from silvia nsw. www.mscn.com.au turns out the length of the bolt on my housing was standard. i went to SSS and got another one and its the same length. seems to me that the justjap centre nipple is designed to only screw on for 1.5 to 2 turns (which doesnt seem safe to me). so i paid a visit to Motorsport Connections where they provided me with the same thread size nipple but longer so it bolts onto the housing safely. only thing to note is that the thickness of the nipple has to be machined down on a lathe to the same thickness as the JustJap one to fit into the sandwich plate. im at work so i cant link up the pictures.

as above, can anyone confirm 100% if RB25DET timing belt cover will fit a RB25DE? the DET has a cam bulge out on the front where as the DE doesnt. cheers.
