hi guys, this issue has been happening more frequently over the past 2 months or so. i use to get the pop after trying to start before on cold days but it never gave a puff of smoke. basically on cold start up or even after i stop driving and trying to start again after 30mins-2hrs, it is very hard to start. it would crank, and feel like its going to start then it would pop and will not start, so i'd have to crank again and keep holding it and then it would start after sounding like a struggle, then a puff of white smoke would come out. after googling, and doing some searching on here, it could either be leaking injectors or valve stem seals. after about ~1.5years since the rebuild, i noticed there were some dirt residue around the injectors which i assume they were leaking an dirt has stuck to it. i do notice around the base of the injector where it sits in the plenum its wet, but it doesn't drip out fuel, is this normal? anyone have an idea what it could be? engine: rebuilt rb25det neo ecu: haltech PS1000 injectors: hiflow standard injectors 600cc any help much appreciated.

if it is mid march i should be in if the cars tuned by then, any idea on dates yet ?

its welded where the the turbo bolts to the manifold with the splitter still in place. which im pretty sure its the right place to fit it.

oh cool, thanks for clearing that up Scott. some progress - still got plenty of room so i rekon its possible to squeeze in a T67 down there with a large spacer Blake should be coming today or tomorrow to do the intake, cooler piping & screamer, and finish off the dump pipe. then tune in mid-end of Feb.

i've noticed how my kando rear housing is bolted to the chra is pretty poor, i've seen some with v-band and some with garrett style fittings but for some reason mine is different. ARTZ/JEZ, how is your rear housing bolted to the chra?

hi guys, selling my 3" HKS silent power catback off my R34 GTT Coupe. it was originally from a 4 door R34 that has been modded to fit the coupe. the middle resonator has been removed and a small hotdog res has been put in as a replacement. in good condition, minor scrapes on bottom of cannon but no major dents/rust/holes etc. i've been told it will fit R33 GTST as well but will need to mod one or two of the hangers (not 100% sure on this?) comes with a burnt tip slip on cover and extends the tip out abit as well (pics below) located in Sydney, near Liverpool. price: $400 neg will swap for something like a mandrel bent jasma jap exhaust, not straight ones as i want it up close to the chassis as possible will get more pics up over the weekend. but it looks like this; on the car, exits on a nice angle.

Hks thermostats are about the same price as the mocal one but that is just thermostat only, mocal gear looks pretty good. Where do you guys buy your mocal sandwhich plates from? Will rather get this next time if my hks thermostat ever does fail.

my A1RM's have quite a bit of noise when braking hard. machined rotors, used caliper cleaner, anti-squeeal sealant etc. fixed it for around 1-2000km and now its back.

ever tested a thermostat before mate? i'm guessing you haven't, as you will see that it slowly opens up. so yes, in a way it is "smart", it does not open fully right away. what a smart cookie you are
