Dude you're comparing the p45-r which is 5 spoke aka lmgt4 / drifttek copies. the ones duncan have are grid drifts which are 6 spoke and similar to te37 style mate. edit: just saw your few posts above.

This is the first time i've heard or seen this type of rota wheel crack. i did some research about rotA wheels and apparently they had a recall of some wheels but that was years ago. their quality has improved heaps since then. if you google cracked rota grid you won't find many(if any) apart from this thread.

um they both have 6spokes. why are people comparing these rims to te37 and other high end wheels when they are more then double the price of these rims and obviously better quality. these should be compared with wheels on the lower end of the market such as work emotions. im sure if they received alot of track work the will probably crack too as they're just a cast rim also.

hi guys. just after a few parts for my 34. 1. rb25 nissan rebuild gasket kit (nissan OEM preferred) 2. Arp rb25 conrod bolts 3. lastly some 18x9 +18-20 range and 18x9.5/10 +20-35 range. seeing what's out there before i get some brand new rota grid drifts and will be placing an order with fatz by thursday. Price range 1000-1700$ cheers

Any xrays after the cracks? have you contacted the rota distributor and sponsor on this forum to see if they have any input to why it may have cracked?

You can't compare te37s to this wheel as they're both made differently and from different materials. compare with other cast made wheels, such as work emotions etc. i'll get pics up soon of the crack on the volk racing wheels. they were an earlier model- av racing i think. I'm too interested to see what ROTA have to say about this as i'm about to get a set from fatz group buy. Where are the pics of the xray that was done as i can't see it on my mobile browser.

thanks for the pics mate, ive seen this on VOLK racing rims as well so other factors could've contributed to it. How are the back wheels holding up? After this issue, will you buy another set from ROTA?
