  1. BOOSTD I tried to translate through babelfish, but I'm still getting lot of squares and symbols? I think I might need to download a japanese text support for it to work, but I can't find it.
  2. Well yes, let me elaborate. We test drove 5 or 6 other R33s before he bought this one, none of them squirmed around like this car does just on a roll. As for standing starts...his first drag (with four decent sized guys in the car) involved half a turn of opposite lock and 20 meter long thick black marks. :uh-huh: But then we found out there was an undercover cop behind us at the time...
  3. I'm not sure, but besides the body kit (minus high rear spoiler on this one) I think it's had some engine work done. It's running 10psi at the moment, but it's still the fastest R33 we test drove. It has BIG traction problems in first.
  4. Yeah it's an R33, I've never seen another Tommy Kaira Skyline in Adelaide. The only problem is it's very distinctive, and we keep getting followed by cops all the time. Or maybe it's the P plates. I think it was BOOSTD, that sounds familiar.
  5. Hi, I can't remember your nick, but you had a dark coloured R33 GTST with an Alpine TV and DVD player. My mate had the white Tommy Kaira R33, I was the one who closed your boot rather roughly. (sorry) Anyway you mentioned being able to get things cheaper off Yahoo Japan. He's interested in getting an Alpine TV like yours, (especially) an Apexi Power FC computer and possibly a FMIC. Is there a site that I could look at to get these items, or I think you said something about having a contact who could organise it? Thanks for your help.
  6. All the places have been taken now.
  7. It's good to see the police were using their resources wisely....four cop cars for some people standing around in a carpark..
  8. Yes, and IT'S NOT A MAXIMA. Look closely and you will see a FORD BADGE.
  9. I think it's a Ford Contour. What in the hell is making people think a BOV would shoot steam? This is the third thread I've seen asking this.
  10. What part of Adelaide do you live in? 180s are everywhere, not quite as many as R33s though.
  11. Does anyone know where to buy Option or similar magazines from?
  12. I don't like the R33 sedans, but I love the R34..
  13. It's not really a 'them' as such, the cruise was advertised on lots of forums and in the Trading Post, so it was a big mix of everyone.
  14. There were only 2 cars written off this time....a VS went up the back of an Rx2 or RX3 very hard, which then smacked a BMW in front, not too bad damage for the Bimmer though. On Port Road we went past a Falcon that had severely clobbered a tree, looked very bad. Too many cops as well, except for Bunnings aka burnout central.
  15. Anyone seen the 'nitrous simulator'?
  16. Thanks its a Canon EOS 3000 SLR, I used a 75-300mm zoom lens for most of the shots.
  17. Here's my photos from the drift comp, enjoy! http://groups.msn.com/EliteXtremeCrew/drif...ion10thmay.msnw
  18. And a new MX5 span into a marshy ditch as we were leaving...I'll post pics when I get them developed.
  19. Ugh, please tell me that's not really what the V35 will look like...
  20. I'm pretty sure alcohol was allowed last time, a few guys I was sitting next to were gulping down copious amounts of bundy & cola...
  21. Think about it though, if traffic is massively banked up and your bike is capable of moving through 200m of stationary cars, you're not going to wait at the back of the line when you can safely get through, I'd just be worried if the cars started moving halfway through.
  22. Make sure you cut your nails short as well, I slashed my thumb pretty badly when my hands were flailing around the wheel...
  23. Nightcrawler you elitist bastard! If the Corolla was yellow, it was probably me....I know where you're coming from though, I hadn't really been to any SAU cruises before, they're a lot smaller than the others I'd been on with ricy Lancers/Excels that I can keep up with, or big enough that it's impossible to stay with the group. It is good to have a higher standard though, apart from my car the Skyline cruises have a much higher quality of cars coming along. You don't have to worry about that anymore though, my best mate just bought a Tommy Kaira M25 R33 GTST, so I'll be cruisin with him from now on, once he pays it off in a couple of months...
