Yep, those headlights are so horrible and old they used them on a Lambo Diablo !!! WTF drugs you on dude ???? To be quote honest I am pretty happy most people DON'T buy a 300zx, If there where more of them around they would be as common as an R33. Thats one thing I would never want to happen. All those problems people go on about, are mainly due to 15 year old basket cases imported under the 15 year rule. Next you will be telling me all R33 and R32's exhaust smells like cut roses. There are crap cars in every breed.

Is it too late to get in? Will these fit a VG30 ??? if they do I want two exhaust gears. Can you please ask your supplier? Thanks Graham

I own a 300zx for a few reasons. 1) I love the way they look. They havent aged as much as an R32. Still look as hot today as they did when they where imported. 2) The roof comes off 3) I can work on it myself and while it may be more difficult than a Commodore. Name a performance FWD or 4WD car that is easy! 4) Its isnt a Skyline !! You have to admit that Skylines are getting like arseholes. Everyone has one !! 5) It is a Nissan. I have a lot of regard for Nissan engineering. 6) I feel no penis envy for Skyline drivers. I can absolutely hammer most of them. 7) The interior looks special as opposed to the skyline that looks like a modifed taxi. And before you say anything. Yes I am biased

Has anyone managed to get the microtech to handle the VVT solenoid. what did you do and how did you do it?

I dont know if there is any interest over here, But I just did a group buy in the 300ZX forum for new injector, AAC and temp sensor connectors. I recently replaced all mine and it made a huge difference on a 15 year old car. My connectors where all old and green. I can get a few more of these if there is any interest over here. $7.80 each and 5 dollars postage. Cheaper than a new loom and big payoff IMHO. Here are a few pics with Z32 parts. You get new boots, plug, and two pins in each kit. top and side feed injectors use the same plugs temp sensor This will be the only mod on Nissan connectors, some have this bump on them others dont. The idea is to file or slice off that raised plastic block on the side. I have only see this on some temp sensors and AAC valves, Not on injectors. Let me know if there is any interest over here via PM. I can get some more connectors if there is a need. Lets set the closing date on this group buy at the 16th of August. I quick question for those that know. In the Z32 there are squirters below the bore that direct oil up into special holes in the piston crown to keep the piston cool. Do the stock GTR and GTST pistons have that as well? I notice on the ACL forged pistons I have they are missing. I wonder if it makes any difference?

If you read my earlier post I brought this up as well. Mahle actually own ACL. I have ACL pistons and always thought they where made by Mahle. But a few people have said they are ROSS pistons. Now I am really unsure. We need this clarified I think.

Thats interesting, I have a set of ACL forged VG30 pistons ready to go here as well. What are the advantages of the gapless rings over normal ones? I always assumed the ACL pistons where Mahle, after reading all the posts here maybe they are made by Ross. Sorry to ask for an education on this, but I would like to know.

Any opinions on the ACL/MAHL forgies?
