  1. $20 each for the weekend would cover you for elect, bottled gas etc There is a king bed, a queen bed, 2 doubles and 2 singles and the couch. King bed is mine , depends on how GAY you are feeling as to how many people can fit in the beds. LMAO Theres room for a blow up bed as well if that turns you on.
  2. I spoke to JP yesterday. He aint coming down. He's going to Wakefield park the weekend before. Sounds like a cop out to me I am going to enter AND I have a holiday house 1.5 klms from the track. If you wanna give me some cashish to cover bottled gas usage etc and help me clean it up when we leave. I can put a few of you up that weekend. http://www.stayz.com.au/57649 Plenty of room in the back yard to park trailers etc.
  3. Where do Proflex with external canisters fit amongst all these?
  4. I have been grappling with this for FEW WEEKS. Basically you cant get enough colours to make a coherant and tracable loom from any supplier. Solution? I ended up getting 2 stock looms and ripping them apart. You get the correct cross section wire for everything in the car already. The lengths are correct for many of the accesories you are going to use. and you can base your wiring diagram on the stock wiring and liquid paper out all you dont want and draw in what you do. I couldnt beleive the weight of a stock loom before i ripped out what I didnt need.
  5. Can someone who knows whats what, please rate those suspension packages above in terms of price and performance ?
  6. I use one of these. Seems to work well and saves my neck from whipping around. I actually got a faster lap time when I didnt have to concentrate on keeping head upright. It fits reasonably tight between my helmet and my shoulders. So my head movement side to side is very well damped. Fairly comfortable actually. I can still look side to side, but can let a load off and allow the helmet to sit on it. A lighter helmet might have helped but I cant afford a carbon one. They are only about $110 http://rallynuts.com/motorsport/SPARCO_Nec...k_Brace_565.asp
  7. watching the replay of Watkins Glen NASCAR. I am enjoying this much more than the normal OVAL track racing. Go Ambrose !!
  8. That was a horrible day. I was in a corporate tent opposite that when it happened. Couldnt beleive it as it unfolded in front of my eyes. It was gut wreching watching this poor bugger trying to hang onto life. Its not something I ever want to see again. I will never forget it.
  9. They will probably have wear ratings like the Federal 595RSR
  10. How anyone could get through those cars without a hefty panel repair bill is AWESOME !!
  11. I need a pair of good used RE55's Have a pair set of rims to fill
  12. yep RE55's, Well I guess 255's will be fine. I got a pair of 235 fronts yesterday with a reasonable amount of tred left. Need some rears. Anyone ??
  13. has anyone got any used but good Potenza 265/40/17 semi slicks they want to sell ? I need a spare pair for an extra set of wheels I have.
  14. Have the break away race at Phillip island !! Now that would be cool
  15. I am going to Winton to play with the road car in early July. So will give it a run then and repost the video. Cropped it cause I uploaded to Photobucket first and it looked shocking. Then redid the file onto Vimeo which doesnt compress quite as much. So it stayed 4:3
  16. I would be keen on a race logger when its done. Will it have a GPS input ?
  17. Thanks for that. I see you are using the wheel speed sensor just for vehicle speed. I was actually going to look at all 4 wheels and use it for slip. The speed pulse setup is like the AIM dash so no issues here. Whats the currect price for the logger ?
  18. My Deals Direct camera arrived. It works really well. The 720p 30fps output is pretty damn good. This camera is really tiny. Here's some video I took yesterday. Still compressed fair bit by the up load. The raw camera footage is heaps better than this. The video output is 16:9 aspect. I had to crop the sides off so it looked right after upload. http://vimeo.com/5109941 for the money this thing is great value. But the best bit is unlike the go-pro you can rotate the screen around so you dont have to look at it from the back to preview what you are going to be getting.
  19. OK, Thats great. I actually have a AIM dash that reads CAN off the Motec but it didnt come with data logging. I couldnt afford the really good one that did that. But if this is high enough impedance not to screw with the sensor signals I am good with it. Just a quick question. What did you do about the wheel speed sensors? Use the ABS senders ? I have NO factory nissan loom or anuthing else left but i am sure the ABS sensors are still in the front hubs and the diff housing. How much was the Motec fuel pressure sensor ?
  20. Is the VIPEC CAN buss prototcal the same as the CAN used in the Motec ?? This looks really good but I am not sure if I can use it with the M800
  21. I actually thought you could get that fixed. Those pits would weld up OK and machine down perfectly. Do you really need a new one?
  22. The Holden IRS is bloody horrible for towing. Luckily the Crewman has single axle rear end with leaf springs and tray load of 1.1 tonne. Just needs more torque. The SS V8 Crewman would probably be a lot better as a tow car. Looks good with the trailer on the back
  23. See my post above re towing with a Crewman ute. An MX5 on a 400kg trailer would be fairly easy for it. You can get a 2 tonne tow pack for a commodore.
  24. A mate of mine bought one of these. Its 720P and takes great video. Think I may just buy one of these. For $199 why not !! http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/p/otek-high-...n-video-camera/
