  1. I have an idea, dont buy it, they are a pain in the rse. Who were you planning on getting to tune it?
  2. Curious as to why you want to remove the VCT, when the motec has the adility to control it? You could always fit an rb20 inlet cam, as it is designed for hydraulics and has the 4 bolt holes at the front.
  3. No, it means it is detonating, and you need a tune or a touch up. Tell the tuner where the light comes on.
  4. Twin rb20 or 25 AFM.s should do the job with only the larger piping causing issues. Should be able to get them on here for around $50 each. IMO twin z32's are overkill, as they will max out at over 500rwkw, and have poorer tuning resolution compared to 20/25 units.
  5. My guess for 2c would be CAS, igniter or AFM, What ecu is it running?

  7. I know this sounds fundamental, but how did you come up with 12 deg ATDC, when surely this is markedly affected by rod/stroke ratio.
  8. No way it could be used, the greddy plenum needs the piping to run where the washer bottle goes. Wheras the gtr setup goes above the chassis rail.
  9. Its not. The toshi remap can be remapped to suit more mods in the future, i wouldnt be going any other way unless you are after over about 270rwkw
  10. I can do an alloy afm into pipe for a good price if anyone is snterested, looks neat too. Look at my thread in the fabrication thread.

  14. Actually the injectors may be in brissy still, moving up to cairns as we speak.
  15. I wouldn't be fitting stainless bolts to the alloy heads, as the reaction between the two metals causes them to gall the threads
  16. Its really something you need to setup on the dyno, i doubt there are too many back to back rb26 to rb26/30's running the exact same setup to do a fair comparison.
  17. Another dyno isnt going to help, Could there be an issue with valve float? I would just drop the exhaust at the cat, and give it a run. Are you running a screamer?
  18. Matt sends you the base maps when you register, then you can load them into the chip. Not sure weather there was anything on the chip, as i just loaded a bin. file to my liking.

  20. Is there any particilar reason you picked those two turbos? I would go a 3076 .82. Plenty of response and enough flow to blow a stock motor if need be. Can make a drivable 300rwkw which is enough to have it spinning at any legal speed
  21. Just finished a rb26 nistune ecu on an rb25/30 neo using a custom AFM. Paired up the afm inputs and o2 inputs inside the ecu. AFM will max out around 380rwkw. Had the car running good base tune in about 45 mins driving.
  22. I can confirm the gears wont fit an r33 rb25 or r34 neo intake cam.
