bbe; Nah the aircond hasnt been regassed as i said above in the first post. The fan was bringing hot air with just the fan turning no air con on at all. The electrics have been played with and the whole climate control unit needs to be replaced. I have given up on this guy and car. To much of a head f%$k.

Im 18. Got a quote for modified R32 sedan GTS-T. Full manual conversion, 2530 Turbz, Larger FMIC, EBC and some other things with Full Black Top paint work for $1860. But thats for a sedan which is classed as a family car kind of I think. But this does not really help u at all but yeh it was with Just Cars. Shannons wont touch you as your 17 and i think they wont cover u until your 25. Good Luck mate

Im not sure if it is correct or not? But i have been told that there is an amp for the rear speakers? Is this true? And did you replace the speaker cable to the head unit or just replaced the speakers? Im getting a R32 sedan soon and would like some good sound. nothing over the top but i have heard the stock speakers and well they are showing there age. If this is true is it ahrd to wire the new speakers up into the amp or just by pass it and go straight for the head unit and have fun ripping up the carpet and so forth?

Ok went and had a proper look at Nisswrecks. Dont worry i slapped myself so u guys dont have to . I put my foot in it big time. Nisswrecks is awsome but only needs a good paint job. Yeh nisswreck is but its poo. No offence to them at all I went and had a look yesterday and the paint work is crap and it isnt as nice as the one i am talking about above. I am going to offer him $10k and see if he takes it as its going to need about $1500 worth or work on it as it hasnt had a 100000km service yet. SO thats big bucks there allready. OK i am looking at buying a R32 sedan GTS-T auto. It has 101***kms on the clock but its imported so who really knows. I have some problems with the car as the owner wants $11800 for it but there are a few things that need replacement. The list is things that are damaged and have been done to the car. It has a damaged left hand headlight. How much for one of these? No passanger air vent as not alot of the 32's have anyway. How much also for this? Front bumper is cracked but mates can fix that. Air con needs to be regassed. & finally the climate control does not pump fresh air into the cabin. It just pumps hot air no matter what the setting of the fan is on the climate control. I went to nisswreck and asked the owner there and he said something might be wrong with the electrics in the climate control system. There is also a leak of oil I really cant see myself paying $11800 for this car as there is alot of work to be done to it. Im getting a loan for this car but its going to be sucured and Just cars has given me an agreed value of $8,900. So its not looking in my favour. You should try to use some Jet A1 fuel with it. That would make it alot better. LOL highly illegal but still good fun.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ thats a bit much. I know of ppl that will do all of it for $1200 - $1300. depending on if the clutch is upgraded or not. Just ring around and go with what you can afford. Im doing the same once i get the R32 4dr once this stupid loan goes through. As R32FOURDOOR said try Z imports, my mate got his done there and it was a great job. Good luck champ

LOL Manual is the bomb. Call an instructor with a manual little buzz box and get like 2 lessons. They will teach you the basics unless your a F34Ktard and can't learn quick. You should be ok for ya formal. But jumping from a shitty 1.8L 4cyl to a GTR with most likelly a bit more power is a big jump. I have some mates that live on Hanson rd they own a crash repairer. Your best way to do it is get lessons. If i had a good enough car and the spare time i would come out and teach you as i have been driving for 6yrs now and been driving manual most of it. LOL im 19 so yes i was driving illegally on the beach in qld. hehehe SHHHH But the biggest problem with guys on here might be the damage you could do to there clutches and gearboxes. Im not saying you are so dumb but if your just learning and you stuff something up big $$$ will be needed. SOrry for the massive rant. Good luck mate.

What do you mean it wouldnt be worth it. I would do anything for a R32 4 door Type M with those K's. ANd for that price i would put it on the back of a truck and complie it down here. all up would prob coast me 8.5k or somewhere about that. Hey, good to see that there is a hread for the "old girls". Um yeh im pretty sure i have a c210. It is a 1979 datsun skyline, straight 6 2.4L single carby auto sedan. Got given to me and my brother as a no your not getting motorbikes here take the skyline. Nothing has been done to it besides a sony cd player and 6 inch speakers in the back with carpet over the back dash. Once i figure out how to put pictures up i will do it. I have only seen a few 2 doors here in adelaide and a few sedans. but mine seems to be the cleanest i have seen here so far. Not bragging but just IMO.

I got quoted for a R32 sedan RB20DET manual conversion, exhaust, sound system, mags, bodykit, suspension, pod, FMIC, turbo timer, bov & some other smaller mods. For Full Compo formy as an 18yr old male was 1640 a yr. excess was 950. Sounds to me like JCI is the way to go. But then again i am yet to have any fines or crashes as of yet so i wont hold my breath

Dont Like it either, front end looks to big for the body, i have seen it in flesh it is diferent but im not a fan. As you say the whole family car sleeper style rocks my socks FBI = Different. But mmmmmmmm not keen

Hey i have a 1979 datsun skyline 4 door. Sorry i dont no how to put picks up either but im not sure what the model of it is sorry. all i know is its a 2.4L carby straight 6 auto. Has nothing wrong with it, all i have done to it is put a xplod cd player and speakers into it. Trusty old grandma's car still going.
