  1. I wish daddy could've bought my car for me, life is cruel for some. =((
  2. Oooh this is absolute gold. I say we split all the chiqz up into each of our cars n deviate from the ball *grin* I say we find as many linez as we can and turn this into a decent cruize while we're at it.
  3. NO_RSPECT - where did you find the iridiums for that price? Btw, was a good run up the freeway a few weeks back after the dragz, we should do it again sometime
  4. If it's a coil pack, you could just swap them from another cylinder to see whether it is indeed the coil pack? I did that with my 33. Also saves you a trip dude.
  5. Beeble, you live in North Perth? ..Where?
  6. I will probably be there, it looks like it's gonna be a riot
  7. Shiiiiit mate, that is horrible =(( I know exactly how u feel, I think we'd all love to get our hands on the bastard who did this, I'd be right a-long side you. People honestly have no conception, these little ****wits need a serious beating. I'll certainly be on the lookout for it down in the cannington area when I'm there to visit friends + carousel + cruise etc. Best of luck with it all mate.
  8. I'd be taking it straight to the high pressure cleaner straight away...just make sure you don't saturate *too* much of the motor around the coils/intake/bov etc. keep as much of it as dry as you can.
  9. I'm not sure if I agree about the factory BOV theory. Given that the stock one is a bleed valve also it feels terrible when bleeding the majority of boost while driving. Plus the diaphragm in mine felt like it was constantly leaking boost all over the place, which meant that if it was going to be driven hard then it wouldn't spool unless you really gave it a boot. The TurboXS type H valve which I replaced the stock one with feels fine though, and I've had no stalling issues with it at all. They hold boost really well and allow the turbo to spool correctly. However the stock cooler chokes on itself =( I chose the aftermarket BOV (flow purposes) for now only because I'd like to hi-flo the turbo and get hold of a fmic also at some point soon.
  10. Turbo/Exhaust gaskets are pretty common from what I've heard too, but not too difficult to fix either, just a matter of putting the time aside for it. One question for you though Kym..is that gear oil any good because I've never used it before, I was gonna give Redline a go next but the only deterrant is the price. I'm always open to suggestions btw.
  11. Whiteness is very bad, it means you are running way too lean. If you are not running with slightly dark plugs (a good indication that your engine is running rich enough) then this will cause some major internal damage if it's continued to be driven hard.
  12. It should be fine, I run a TurboXS BOV on my R33 gtst and the it does the job really well high up in the revs and the compressor flutter low in the revs should not damage the turbo. This is simply because there is not enough boost and it cannot expel the minimal amount of air via the BOV.
