  1. races bro. OT- Arthur did you take the photo in your new avatar? who's lying down beside the GTR lol
  2. yep, its not so much in need of a tune just a check up to ensure the AFR's is safe, for the sake of $80ish for 3 power runs to check it.
  3. RB26 with variable cam timing RRR
  4. Get a new nismo reg. Adjustable so we can just set it at stock base pressure. Think theyre around 150$. Have u asked nissan how much for a new one?
  5. best to get it checked on the dyno to make sure your AFR's are ok which also checks the fuel system. But at the least have supporting mods like cooler and free flowing exhaust including a decent cat.The stock turbo is risky but its a bit of a lucky dip whether it will last or not, some people go for years with the stock turbo on 16psi and some pop them at a little lower boost after a couple of months etc
  6. thats correct Johnny, always prefer to tune from dump pipe too, unfortunately not everyone wants a bung welded into there exhaust. the fuel reg was different unfortunately, has the outlet pipe bent at 90 degree's, was the one you gave Ron from a neo motor?
  7. it would be more likely if we had issues on the dyno too which we didnt, after the dyno we did a check on the road and the AFRs were way to lean, tried my innovate and the shops innovate with the same lean result. then we put in a longer venturi sensor adaptor that sits further into the tailpipe which showed as tuned results 11.7-11.8 on song.
  8. spewin, its only really happened since you pulled off nd cleaned all your cooler pipes and cooler etc, is that right? did you remove the BOV's then? you can try mine if you want
  9. Glad your happy Ron. Your car definately feels alot stronger than the 186kw it made, goes to show that you can go from 132kw to 186 kw on the same boost just with a tune, your car was low to start with so that shows there is an issue somewhere to start with. the power drops off from 5000rpm more than i would have liked. but there was a fair bit of tyre loss showing on the dyno. couldnt see the intake pipe sucking shut but the syptoms are similar to that. with the AFR on the road testing, thats got me stumped. your car is the only one i have ever had lean out due to what we suspect is air going into the exhaust tip and giving a lean reading. next time when i fit your 3 inch dump pipe i will weld in a 02 sensor bung for increased accuracy. enjoy your car and we will push some bigger numbers when you get a bigger turbo
  10. even with the new profec b?
  11. I run around 20 psi. I never push any cars to the knock threshhold but. So im sure i can run more timing. My car goes to the circuit a fair bit. I only run on low boost 15psi at the circuit. So the tune is kept a bit safer
  12. Try some bkr6e spark plugs. They are .8mm instead of 1.1mm so its easier on the coil packs.
  13. Any one know if R33 and r34 regs are interchangeable. Or any regs that can be used on a neo motor?
  14. Its going into limp home mode. Check the nistune board is still held into the 20 pins correctly. Also check the 4 wires for the board are connected. Check all solder joints. Check that the board has been hot glued so it cant come loose. Where are u located?
  15. Well done buddy. Good feeling when stuff like that works and saves u on new coil packs.
  16. Dont allow for boost predsure when checking at idle. When on 12psi it should rise 12 psi.
  17. I think he meant TPS. Typo
  18. Any luck?
  19. Leave the coolant as is mate.
  20. Source some stock ones from a wreckers. But im guessing u have aftermarket cooler piping. Will still work just have to add a piece for the stock ones. They come Bolted to a pipe which is easy to fit. Just make sure you get them bolted onto the pipe when u get them
  21. Yep sure does. Also shows idle switch to make sure its activated
  22. U guys have to run 1/4 tank to keep up with me I run with a full tank.
  23. Thats pretty good to run 24. Ur 95 must be as good as our 98.
  24. Did u replace the water pump when u took it off? Have u tried running coolant? Try a new radiator cap too. Try one with a slightly higher pressure. Higher pressure systems help prevent water boiling. Have u had the tune checked. It is VERY possible ur fuel pump or system is leaning the engine out causing extremely hot cylinder pressures which is boiling the fluid in the head near the combustion chamber.
