  1. was a top day, and really good racing in our class with a lot of tight finishes. also there is plenty of friendly comradery in our class which is great. Shane
  2. im hanging out, will say im a tad concerned about the trip home with all the crap going on down there.
  3. would have to go to slicks but to run sport mod. other wise i would be doing that for sure.
  4. sport rwd is now upto 17 entries. there are more names being added to the field each day which is good news.
  5. what can i say, i felt left out. the little blue datto (jeremy) has intentions to do all rounds of the championship. i hope that field gets bigger, or i would say she will be all over.
  6. jesus, my car has grown a front diff according to that list, i am running in sport awd. and you gtrs are in rwd. lol
  7. goodluck mate, i think that would keep a lot of people happy. i sent them an email along these lines 2 days ago, still havent heard back.
  8. they have to run slicks to be in sport mod, you cant run street tyres in sport mod. i dont think the top cars want to run against kier wilson or the 7 sec rx3 from PAC.
  9. WORD sport rwd had 98 entires at qld jambo about triple that of sport mod.
  10. this is effectively a half cage which i have. but you also need a intrusion bar and taxi bar.
  11. personally i dont care about light wieght r32 skylines, eat mcdonalds get fat and race in our class. or go sport mod. maybe we should change the class name from sport rwd to r32gtst rwd. seriously, is this class all about skylines. shane.
  12. it will always be dyo, dyo is harder racing than head up any way, you have to think about it way more.
  13. so lets get the qld people to lobby together and the nsw people to lobby together and maybe be we may get things heard. could be a pain in the arse, but its common sense.
  14. actually, they dont charge you until they look at the breach if you right they dont charge if your wrong they charge, i know this as at compak attak i protested a car that had taken its exhaust of in the semi final. cant wait to see marks car at wsid, i am thinking a new pb is on the way for it.
  15. neither appeal to me either mate. i was once a knuckle dragger, never again. and willowbank weather is not good for my fair complexion.
  16. i agree with paul. either comply to the class rules, lodge a rule change submission or piss off and race with the knuckle draggers or run in sprt mod. at the end of the day sport rwd is dyo, so it doesn;t matter how fast you are, it rewards consistancy. i agree on the seat rule is silly, but thats the rule. minimum weights have come down, rwd was 3400 pound for a car with power adders, so dont expect it to come down any time soon. it is ment to be the street driven class. i drive mine 15000k's a year, i highly doubt a lot of the other cars in the field actually get driven on the street. 11.8 was what the datto that won sport rwd qualified with at the 16th spot. i pulled my ABS off and the shitty small front brakes and put nissan gtst calipers on them and 330mm rotors, if i had the standard braking equipment my car came with they would be pulling me out of the sand trap every pass even with abs. straight from the andra website. s\rwd rules 6. 17. i am going to shout this for the deaf people I WALKED THE TRACK, THE STARTING AREA HAD LOST ALL ITS RUBBER AND WAS NOT FIT FOR QUICK TIMES, I AS WOULD AND OTHER CARS MAKING OVER 260 RWHP LET ALONE 470RWHP WOULD NOT HAVE RUN QUICK TIMES, MEANING A THE TRACK WAS POINTLESS FOR TESTING. thank christ it was called off, as i am only down my tow car fuel bill, and not an additional $250 can of race fuel, more passes on my drivetrain and engine to run shit times on a track that wasnt going to be quick. i am too disappointed it didnt happen as i am always up for racing, but based on the information provided, ie track conditions and probability of rain it was the best decision to cancel. is it getting through yet, even though it didnt rain, no one would have run quick due to the extremely poor track condition, hell one of the quicker cars could have had an accident, and instead of being $200 $600 or $800 down, you could have been down a $50k car or $130k car and been in hospital feeding rom a tube. Shane, the cranky cressida driver. time for a cuppa
  18. mark its shane with the cressida mate. i would suggest that it wont be amended. agreed its a stupid rule, i bought 2 seats to meet the rule. i think as long as the seat in the passenger side is ADR approved and able to be used on the street it should be fine. unless some one has put in a rule change submission and paid the money to have it heard, it wont be changed, and hence you will get pinged at sydney if they logged you in qld for it. i would be contacting Jason Ohallaren about this other wise you will have problems mate. i would suggest they wont change it as they want the class to be seen as the street registered class. now you AWD boys have enough for your own 16 car field i wish they would seperate the class to make it fairer for the other skyline guys to get into the 16 car s/rwd field. i think this is part of thhe reason people arent racing at comp meets, cause they dont see themselves making the 16 car field. Shane ECRO33, nominate for sport rwd and if you dont make the 16 car field in sport rwd they will drop you back to et2.
  19. im doing the tyre test for zoom, so whenever its on i am there. im always ready to roll, so late notice is cool with me.

  22. you bring the greek sweets my friend and i'll bring the thermos.
  23. it doesnt offend me Stav, the point is when WSID staff see that sort of thing they get annoyed and basically it means if that kind of behaviour is seen they will put an end to private test days. from speaking to an andra rep, the strict rule of no name on sheet no entry and maximum limits on pit crew and spectators was brought on by a rowdy crowds behaviour at a private test day, so they obvioulsy have the thoughts of if people are good they relax the rules, if people play up the make it stricter thats all. i love a good smoke show.. also the 26th works out best for me and the BCNYA rotary. december gets into family and work christmas parties etc. lock in 2 votes for the 26th please eddie.
