when i had my std bov crap on it used to flutter heaps on boost (13psi) for no reason and run like crap, blocked it, runs like a dream also flutters like mad . I think its useless having it on.
nah no trick? the guys at msc performance did the dyno stuff for me, i did everything else myself. Now im at creatd, getting a pft and stuff in a few days
yeah when i get my highflow on and stuff i will. Is urs the black 33 with the street racing isnt a crime? on the side?
Yeah see, im running no form of ecu jus stock. I used octane booster though so my car doesnt go nuts and start pinging
when that happened to me, i raced that night and went all good, that was back in march, its been running hard as every till now.
But get it checked b4 it pops
good mph man, u packing some power? needa get a good launch to get ur 60 footer better. Next time i race, im using semi slicks for sure, will never go out again on streets.
mine used to do it, hooked up catch can wrong and wasnt letting any crank case pressure out, nearly blew the block to bits haha. But get it checked out asap.
my brother got 13.1 @ 105mph with a 1.9 60 foot
i got 13.3 @ 105mph with a 1.9 60 foot
225/50R16 toyo street tyres and a locked diff
Thats with standard ecu aswell. No safc no nothing. 11psi boost, GTR front mount, 500hp pump 209.5kw
auto if ur not good enough to drive manual ftw
Rob ilioski ran 10.6 in the msa s2 r33 gtst with the stock box
also ran 10.8 in a customers car with a dog box
timing, and threw it on dyno to check air/fuel ratios etc.
But i tuned the boost controller (profec b spec II) myself on the street. Took me like 3 days straight to get it right.
good suspension? and i dump the clutch.. i ride it out at 6,000rpm still spins a little bit, but does launch well.
And as for traction. a 6,000rpm launch on street tyres got me a 1.9 60 footer.
i launch at 5,500 - 6,500 rpm and dont have much of a traction problem but takes a bit to keep straight off the line, slicks will top it off on a good launch
on the street a 5,000 rpm launch with soft throttle is pretty good.
