fair enough, i think if you have a conservative tune, then you will see good km's to a tank. Instead of dumping a whole heap of fuel for no reason, you use every bit of fuel that is allowed in.

both the same turbo's... a good turbo upgrade is a slide highflow for an rb20. Speak to "slide" on the forums.

i think its tune dependant i think. Im running 209kw on 12psi and im on around 11-12 psi everyday, fuel economy is poor. I have been told by tuners and others that my fuel economy will be heaps better with 250kw and a pfc.

lazy-bastard: thats mad fuel economy, my car struggles to see ~340 to a tank and thats normal everyday driving. Will my fuel economy increase by heaps with a pfc? my brother has spoken to a few drifters and they get consistand 400+ to a tank even though they have over 250kw.

i wanted a vl calais turbo for ages!!! and was going to build a full house one. i looked at a few and got turned of from how thrashed they were. So my brother pushed me towards a skyline, i have always loved them, so i baught one!!, never has died on me, reliable as all f***, handles great, response is great, and easy power!!

hey my cold start solenoid thing on the back of my inlet manifold isnt working, the car wont idly properly for like 20 / 30 seconds in the morning, i haveto start it and keep my foot on the throttle while it chokes for that long. Does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks, Phill

i have a question to people out there, how are your bottem ends going with 250 and over with hard driving. Much blow by? compression good? still going good? my engine has done 108,000km and i know everything is in correct working order because i do the servicing and fixing of the engine but i dont want to go blowing my bottem end so soon. Ive raced my car a fair bit, 10 runs in 1 night at calder with massive burnouts running 12psi and no blowby. If i can hear what your opinions are i would appreciate it, thanks.

im not too sure about my stock bottem end when i get close to the 260kw mark, ive raced my car flat out and drive it very hard on the street and not 1 bit of blow by in my catch can. Its on roughly 11 - 12 psi everyday. its also done 108,000kz and using motul 300v chrono.

u dont expect much from a vl id love to see how the workshop is when its jan/feb

haha, no, thats exactly what i was doing today, and it freaking killed me! i almost feinted koz of the heat and stuff.

how hot was it today!! then picture me in a mechanic workshop doing a diff in a ba xr6 ute on the freaking floor with dirt and oil all over me!! it reached over 40deg in the workshop.

yeah i am happy with the time, 1st was missing traction somewhere... but i will be back out with alot more power than the power i have now. And that was on 225/50/16 at around 13psi in the tyres. I am not the best driver out there, i want to run the 12 with me driving. Currently its not bad for an l plater haha mate those lensos are mental. What sizes?

my rocker covers are leaking aswell "aparently" the other workshop i was at changed them... cops ass!!! how much for gen nissan rocker cover gaskets, i also need a gen nissan exhaust manifold gasket..
