  1. Well I have similar modded r32 auto to yours anton, except no GTR injectors (have a nismo FPR to up the ante on the injectors a little).. but a highflow rb25 turbo (not gcg i dont think) I'm only running 12psi at the moment and a bit of a self tune on the SAFC but it doesn't seem too much throw you in your seat.. and I estimate only around 140-50rwkw at the moment. In about 2 weeks I am getting mine tuned.. but realistically I think i'll be lucky to get 180-190rwkw @ 16psi. The same turbo made 230rwkw @ 16psi on gtrgeoff's old rb25. I'll let you know how it goes, but I just don't think the RB25 highflow on rb20 is a great match.
  2. you got a continuous 170rwkw over 5500-7500rpm without it tapering off.. thats not bad to me from an auto RB20.. but you'd expect maybe another 10% I'd agree at least. I have a feeling your wastegate is bleeding off boost after 17psi due to the spring not being strong enough.. afterall - its 10psi above (rb25 actuator?) the standard boost the wastegate is set for? You'd really have to speak to somebody who has the same turbo on an RB20 and find out what boost they have to run to get xxx rwkw to get another base comparison.
  3. how long you wanna wait? my rb20 is coming out in about 2 months.. never mucked with until I got to it.. Still pulls pretty hard and you can check the compression, etc in the car. Mine will be cheaper than a wrecker engine.. probably about $900 Otherwise, just get an rb25 or better.. it will add to the resale value of your car amongst 50 other R32 out there. Rb20's aren't the greatest things.
  4. pisses me off places that refuse to fit anything that they don't sell themselves.. with half the pain you go trying to find out finding a decent place, better off learning how to do it yourself.. I had a similar experience with fulcrum dealer down on the goldcoast.
  5. aircon belt for R32: Dayco Polyrib: 4PK0925
  6. leak sounds right - they should do a leak test when they put the new gas in ?
  7. i got a compressor about to go in the bin if u want one to send off to be rebuilt.
  8. yeah, its awesome.. been playing it non-stop.. Here is my review http://www.gamebiz.com.au/reviews.php?acti...lay&content=757 You need a pretty beefy PC.. For full detail and at least 1024x768 smoothly you need a 3ghz+ processor, and 6600GT or so minimum. It's also a launch title for the xbox360 apparently in the states..
  9. Hey I never pretended I was intelligent, or not a said keyboard warrior myself Well anyhow, if proven wrong, I'm sure to be there with the other few thousand performance car owners with the US invention of the "class action". But a disclaimer, yes a disclaimer gets out of a lot of things. I pontificate () even bad batches of 98RON have slipped through now and then and have caused engine failure, and there hasn't been too much the owner can do to claim recourse without expensive scientific proof. But, whilst there is the chance of ethanol doing damage to a car longterm I can agree, I think shortterm, the analysis has been done on probable damage vs potential cost savings with a lot of money spent already by the fuel companies "in all likelihood" to not be a problem to vehicles. People can accept that or not accept that as they wish, but I know it's not going to be a major concern to me (or a $1500 engine, pft). Usually I am a very sceptical person on most things. I guess we all have to accept it anyhow, as fact is, in 2-3 years we will have little choice on the matter. When you have the government, and Australia's largest industries that help fund the government (through tax and other 'incentives'), the odds are kind of stacked against the population on this one.
  10. If fuel companies were selling a product that in 12 months were found to seriously damage cars, I think business logic would dictate they wouldn't be selling the fuel anytime soon. I think enough research has been done by their researchers to ensure they are not going to have a multibillion law suit on their hands -- i.e. they are not that stupid. I don't need "facts" or 5 volumes of petroleum monthly on me to realise that multibillion dollar companies are more intelligent than a few keyboard warriors.
  11. im on the goldcoast.. postage could be expensive.. I think best to try some wreckers.
  12. you're saying he couldn't have missed one pipe, or forgotten one hose clamp in there? Sounds like the usual symptoms, give it a bit of boost and bpt, bpt, bpt, bpt, bpt, bpt as it overfuels and doesn't enough air in there. Done it many times.
  13. could be anyhting.. might guess is you have a piping leak somewhere, you missed a clamps done up properly, etc.
  14. It's after what you've done things start becoming more expensive.. tyres and suspension could be something you could look at next.
  15. I think these are the same as R32 non mspec brakes.. which i have.. hubs, calipers, and lines How much you willing to pay? $60?
  16. Well i don't know, they just seem to pick a couple out there which are that lower price to 'bait' people, then when people ring because of the low price, that car has been snapped up 'but wait, we have more we can get access to'. It's a standard business practice, but you know
  17. the company in question has a black website.. no identification here..
  18. They look so much like a camary.. but despite that the rest looks very nice. I wouldn't take an 11k example as the 'average'. You'd have to look at a few more.. prestige always does that
  19. lol... I can't believe a whole day and nobody took the offer up of movies with two cute girls.. lol
  20. yeah, i think josh has the secret 'nobody gives a shit' (how they drive).. Could be worse.. whilst queenslanders generally drive like crazy f**kers, in reality there are less accidents and road deaths per head of population. And melbourne they drive so cautiously to avoid creeping that 3km/hr over its almost dangerous anyhow... Not that it stops them killing themselves just as effectively anyhow. If they ever get that tough in QLD fight it tooth and nail, as it DOES NOT save lives.
  21. Very comprehensive reviews there narku Destroy all humans is good fun.. bit repeditive.. I just got a new G5 mice.. it is the shit
  22. here.. http://www.project32.net/tutorials.php (it sounds more complicated on my site than it actually is) Its an ok upgrade, but a standard turbo won't be a massive one.. Highflow would be though
