  5. Oh Kevi, I only just saw this. That really sucks that it only takes the silly behavior of a couple of people to ruin it for many more. Will talk about it further with you soon xoxo
  6. Ok guys, I'll give you a quick run down..... Vic Drift is looking at trying to find an "official" photographer for the club, were trying to take a step forward in making our days/events more public and more organised and to do this we need a reliable stream of media.............. SO if you are good with a camera and know how to shoot moving vehicles send us some examples and your history so we can make a decision. What we are looking for: * Good photos * Flexible * Fun * Will turn up to events * Follow through with their work * Reliable * Really want to help drifting. * Photos of everyone's car at the event. If you meet any of these criteria send your stuff on through!!! We dont need a pro (though that might be nice) and we are willing to give you a go so you can improve. Vic Drift want to be able to supply at least 1 image of every driver on the day on the web site, and also use the images for advertising purposes. Also a set payment will be offered by the club for your services. More details will be provided upon application. Please send application/portfolio to [email protected] or pm me (i will be on holidays from 1/4-13/4 so a confirmation may be delayed) Applications need to be in by Thursday 30th April 2009! Thanks. THIS WILL NOT STOP ANYONE ELSE WANTING TO PHOTOGRAPH/FILM AT OUR EVENTS & DOES NOT GIVE ANYONE EXCLUSIVE ACCESS.
  7. We have to have it done by the end of march as we're heading to Thailand for 10 days before the April event... But during March, my hubby is also in Sydney for about 4 days for VW training so we need to get as much done as possible straight away... We're a good team when it comes to stripping and building cars

    Spotted Thread

Around 3pm this arvo on eastlink (city bound) just up the hill from the tunnel there was a blue R34 on the grass with an ambo in attendance.. I hope everything was ok
  10. yep.. we think when i got hit that it damaged the wheel studs and spacers and because i kept drifting on it, when the wheel came off i landed really hard on and bounced off the ripple strip and it twisted the chassis...
  11. Thanks Russ! My car's chassis is stuffed so we need to build a new shell in 6 weeks and that included painting it.. Oh the joys of being a drifter..
  12. I broke my car ... Was T-boned earlier in the day hence the caved in door then we think that may have caused the hub spacer to crack and after a bit more drifting allowed it to fall apart and have the wheel come off. Airborn twice in a matter of seconds is certainly and interesting experience  Russell, dude you've improved ten fold! I loved watching you in my rear view mirror on several occasions
  13. By popular demand.. Wednesday 18th February, 2009 7:30pm in the main bar area. The Coach and Horses Hotel 33 Maroondah Hwy Ringwood Right next to Eastlink, if you get off at Maroondah Highway its right on the corner of Eastlink and Maroondah highway. There will be a number of things on the agenda. If you would to contribute something to my list to be discussed, shoot me a pm or email. [email protected]
  14. Fantastic pics Jarrod! How do i go about ordering a print from you? I'd like the one you've posted up Luke, Can i assume you were simply warming up the tyres in this pic?! http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3075/320859...1a1cce9.jpg?v=0
