Not that i do them, but what is wrong with Chap laps, its a pretty harmless activity and at least ppl are not drunk and getting into fights. Also, i am really against capsicum spray, i reckon it should be banned and it probably will be a matter of time before it is. I've never been sparyed but i've had ppl tell me stories and its possibly the worst feeling of pain u will ever have. Also, some ppl aparently are alergic to it and can die if sprayed. I feel sorry for the cop that unleases that fateful spray that will end some1's life. Btw, im a wog too but not lebo or turk and assuming that all troublemakers are ule's is very provocative, lets not start a race war in Melb too.

Dont know about that, but i do know for sure that the fixed ones are pretty accurate, and theres no 7km/h taken off. Was pinned for doing 66 in 60 zone by camera on Alexandra Pde, and yes, i was doing 66. Mayb its just the mobile ones that r inaccurate

I am seriously considering starting a Melbourne University Nissan Imports club, (if 1 doesnt exist). It will be similar to the one they have an Monash but better... hopefully. It will also include Latrobe and RMIT but it will be based in Melbourne (since it is in the middle). Just wanna get a gauge of numbers. If u would be interested let me know and i am open to all suggestions. Also, i might need a helper, ie like a Vice-President if ne1 is interested so let me know. Atm i'm thinking a few barbeques folowed by cruises and mayb organise a drift event of some kind at Calder (which is pretty close to campus). We could mayb secure some funding from the Uni and sponsors but enough talk... ...so come all u melb uni ppl, i know u exist, and support this club. Of course this club will also be closely affiliated with NS.com, NISMU (monash nissan club) and SAU Also I am planning to recruit from RMIT (which is just down the rd) and Latrobe Uni, so any ppls from these unies plz come fwd as i will need reps. This is all still in the planning proccess and it may not go ahead if theres not enough interest, so plz say if ur interested. P.S. You dont have to be a Melb Uni student to join (altho it would help) and u definately don't have to be an owner of an import... this club will be open to all motoring enthusiasts.

Ruffles mate, why dont u just swap or lease the car out to someone u trust, or even ur parents, that way when ur 21 u can drive it again, i know that is what i'd do. I also got EPA'd last week, i know how u feel, u always say to urself "it will never happen to me." then it does. U know my friend drove his skyline round for 3 yrs on his P's, got pulled ova many times but neva got dicked for pwr/wt. If i was u just get the car registered under ur Dads name so that u can keep it... and mayb drive it if ur a good boy... or not. All the best mate, P.S. Yea i know those ones, they always come and hang around that street next to chapelli's. Apparently u can get dicked by them if they want to, they do have the pwr but from what i hear they rarely bother

I got all my belts replaced about 2 months ago and recently i've noticed that there is a fairly loud screeching noise when i drive the car at night (like the sound of a slipping belt). It only happens when the headlights are on tho, I thought that the 3 belts are for pwr steering, aircon and alternator. Plz correct me if im wrong. What do u guys reckon the noise is from, im completely stumped?!?

If u can get him to admit he drove the car at all he will be liable. That fact that u didnt tell him to not drive the car is irrelevant. That would be implied since u had the car towed to the workshop. Who is this guy btw so i know neva to take my car there!

I second that. If u read the back of any 2nd car sale contract there is a clause basically saying that the dealer is not responsible for the accuracy of the odometer reading. In reality tho an odometer reading is only a small indication of the condition of the car. They say that it is only a true reflection up to 50000kms because before 50,000 most cars are still in good nick with no problems so the only thing uve got to go by is the odometer. After 50,000 u never know. A 120,000km car could be a much better car than one with 70,000.

Yea thats what the cops will apparently have for every single car. Trust me it wont be that big of a book (you should see some Engineering books with standards and measurements). Plus they might even have it on a database in the computers they have in their cars. That wont be the main problem for them anyway, the biggest issue will be training all the cops to be able to search for and identify illegal components. As i said i will try to post up a link to the 'document' by the weekend. Hopefully hes full of sh(t and it doesnt exist

Hes no authority on the matter, but he did mention that he downloaded it from a govt webpage and that it said that an engineers certificate won't matter any more, no modifications except the ones listed will be legal, even if they apparently improve the car. I'm seeing him on Friday, ill get the details od the document coz knowing him he probably misread it

Hey pple, Has any1 here heard the rumor that the state Govt (VIC) wants to introduce new laws saying that no car can be moddified behond exhaust/airfilter and rims. Thats NO OTHER MODIFICATIONS, even with a engineers cert. A guy i spoke to reckons that he read the papers for it and that the police will be trained on how to find 'illegal mods'. That means no coolers, turbos, no lowering nothing. I dont reckon they will pass it coz think of how many businesses would go bust (and how many pples cars would suddenly become defects) Could be all BS but just wondering if any1 has heard nething

True that, i goto uni in Carlton necxt to the village and travel with pt every day. As it is now the trams/trains cant cope (during peakhour there is just not enough platforms in the cityloop to cope with the demand) so imagine how bad it will get during the games. What do u guys reckon of the Commonwealth games anyway? To me it seams like a cheaper version of the Olympics, i mean who really cares about the commonwealth anyway?! At least it will be good for our economy tho!

My old man once bought a car after having it "RACV inspected" and they missed a whole heap of stuff and the car ended up being a lemon. Better to take u car to an import specialist. Theres quite a few in the SE region, kangaroo rd oakleigh is one but there are others that i can remember off the top of my head.

See, what i was saying all along, it wasn't even danielsons car in the newspaper. You can cause alot of damage to people by falsly accusing them of crimes. How would u guys out there that were so quick to call him a fu(kwit have felt if his car got trashed. If it were me i would be speaking to lawyers and filing a defamation lawsuit. I think u guys who accused him should now apologise
