Why on earth would police respond to a punch on/brawl when it costs them money to attend plus the risk of injury to themselves when they could just pull over cars and increase revenue for the state? At the end of the day, criminal driving and life endangering vehicles are being stopped with the added bonus of more revenue. If you prefer real policing to start happening then the only way to do this is to write to ur state liberal member for ur area and ask him what the Liberal Govt plans to do about this if it takes office at the next election. If enough ppl speak up they have no choice but to listen or lose another election.

These charges relate to the questioning of these individuals by the OPI regarding the police leaking of a police informants name to Melbourne's underworld which subsequently led to the murder of the informant and his wife. A former detective has been charged with this murder. The latest in this saga (see link) is that Ashby has alleged that a Govt frontbencher Pallas knew of the OPI investigation and warned him not to speak to mullet over the phone. Fellow Victorians out there be warned: YOUR POLICE FORCE IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED. These are the real criminals. If it goes as high as the assistant police commissioner (2nd top cop) then how can you trust the local senior sergent. "Uphold the right"??!! "Uphold our bank accounts" more like it! These guys say they are concerned about road trauma and safety, pfft that's just political spin, to uphold their image in the eyes of the mass media hypnotised public. I fear far more for my and my family's safety from thugs within Victoria Police than from characters such as Mich Gatto and bikie gangs. I say if the states can't run it give it to the Feds. Get rid of the state police force and hand over the job to Federal police. Vic police should be disbanded. Let the Feds step in and show em how its done. I can say with about 95% certainty that ur problem is the thermo fans. In most cases they will not work properly to cool down ur car. If u research this, u will find many others have the same problem. Usually the problem lies with the shroud not working effectively to funnel the air in. Standard clutch fans are the way to go, otherwise ppl have had some success with the Ford AU/BA themo setup (including the shroud). I was considering getting thermos a while back but after doing some extensive research i decided not to. What i did find out though is that a transplant from the Ford Falcon thermos with the shroud has the best results. Also from memory having them come in at different temp intervals doesn't achieve anything but again i suggest u research this and/or speak to a proffessional. Hope this helps Taso

registration is 550 per year + add on another $500 for expected fines per year as you will be nabbed for doing 3k's over the limit at least a few times. Eventually u will learn where the speed cameras are though. If i were u mate, id seriously reconsider calling Victoria home. Driving laws here are Draconian to say the very least. Sydney/Qld is a more reasonable choice.

What exactly is included in the dash? Is it s1 or s2? If its the just the dash surround that goes around the stereo and has the 2 middle aircon vents in it, that part usually goes for $50 so im not surpirsed u've had no offers. Also Gearboxes with warranty now go for around 1200-1300. Thats what i was quoted in Melbourne anyway. Of course u can ask any price u want but i thought i'd give u the heads up as to why you havent had much interest

Hi guys, Looking to purchase/ make up a heat shield for my POD but just wanted to see what other pples experiences are: I know Just Jap sell them for ~ $250 and theres some on ebay for ~ $100 but was wondering where ppl have purchased theres from and what they're experiences have been. Also wondering, if i were to custom make one, what material would prob be best as a heat insulator. I was thinking plastic would be best with aluminium foil (facing outwards) pasted on (or between 2 layers of plastic) to reflect the heat. Cheers Taso
