Nismoid.... just wondering, what are the legality issues regarding a rb26DETT (from a 33GTR) into a 33 GTSt. Is it ok if the motor is newer than the age of the body its going into or do you need engineering certificates? Was discussing this with my mate the other day but neither of us was sure

Hard to explain with diagrams but if u google the definition of wheel offset (distance between centre of rim and hub mounting face or whatever u call it) you will understand quickly enough. The more negative the offset the more the wheel will sit out since the mounting is behind the centre and there is more rim width on the outside. Maybe nobody lost heaps of money but the way i look at these things, if somebody tries to con/fraud you, just because they didnt get away with it doesn't make it less bad. If you read the entire thread you will see that HArry is not lying, he simply put up a question asking his fellow SAU members to help him work out whether Jim was stooging him or not. Jim has blatently denied making a false claim even in the face of overwhelming evidence (ie his ad on car sales). Allegations of what offer was made for the car and/or bad customer service are irrelevant and off-topic. Who cares what offer was made on the car and who cares if he treated a potential customer badly (which he has every right to do). The point here is the car is falsely advertised.

Thanks for the info guys, very useful indeed. I guess the reason i wanted to do it was because it just makes the engine bay so much tidier and its such a waste having the cooler pipes bending around. Why couldn't nissan have fitted GTSts with FMIC and front facing plenum. MAkes my blood boil, would have saved us so many headaches

Hi guys, I've done a search for this but wasn't able to come up with much so I'm just wondering if anyone on here knows what the advantages are of upgrading to a forward facing plenum in a 33 GTSt. From what I understand so far the advantages are shorter cooler piping (less pressure drop) plus colder intake temps. Is there anything else I should know and what have ppls experiences been (ie is this a good value for money mod). Most ppl on here seem to upgrade to a greddy branded product but are there any other good alternatives out there for the GTSt? (eg GTR plenum) Last question is how defectible is an aftermarket plenum in Victoria. Due to the "one intake modification" only law I would have thought that this would make it very difficult to get a defect cleared due to the fact you would have to put the stock plenum and intercooler back on. Any advice/experiences much appreciated Regards Taso

Ive got these size tyres and it doesnt buldge out at all. I think the buldge however is related to offset more so than width

actually it was 2nd hand not new. MAte if ur gonna waste everybody's time by not posting the wrecker and the price, maybe just stay out of it. Yea my dog's 2nd cousin's friend on my great uncles side can get it for cheaper too. If u can get it cheaper go buy it and stop wasting our time

Yea calipers come with pads. Rotars seem to be in good condition but ur welcome to come and inspect. I'm not too sure how to gauge the condition of rotars. Thanks

u sure these are the right seats? These don't looke like s1 or s2 seats. Are these out of a 4 door?
