  1. I really expected it to be from the water washer ...but when I went to fill it up...it was virtually full...had a look under the area where the leak was coming from and can only see what looks like the fuel filler overflow...I am starting to think it was just some residual water sitting somewhere and when I filled the tank up the weight made it come out....has not been leaking since.
  2. Have a look at my Stagea contact me if you are interested in a swap . http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/t186529.html
  3. I know there are heaps on this but I still read differing opinions and as there is a guy selling some coil over (GTR33 but he thinks they will fit Stagea), I want to find out the bottom line. I was told that the front of the stagea take GTR fittment and the rear takes GTst33. If this is the case its hard to find much to fit. I have also had others say that GTT34 is the same and R33 GT4 may also fit.Can someone clear this up so I know what I can look at buying that will fit. Thanks.

I am located in Melbourne. Asking $19500 Needs nothing recent serviced. Contact Scott on :03 93262745.
  5. Hi ..I am thinking of getting into an S15...I am 6' 1"...can anyone tell me how they are ergonomic wise?....currently have a Stagea s2 its great and I have had two R33/s that were good as long as they had no sunroof. Thanks
  6. I am sure the leak is from the water washer and the pipe that brings water to the rear wiper.I used the front washer and then noticed the leak again..should be an easy fix.
  7. I went to see Dr drift a month or so back and was informed that he could do the ECU gig. It sounds like a great way to go.but the change over seems a pain...I dont drive my car much at the moment...maybe I could just give the ECU and wait...any idea of the time to have it done? From what I understand once done it gives total control of the ECU..I havent touched my car since I got it and think its time to give it a bit more grunt..this mod would be an all around bonus by the sound of it.

    Car Covers

I have not found a decent one yet...I think the autotechnica is the best...if it is the one that is silver with the fluffy inside. It is water proof but I found you only get one summer out of them cos the heat makes them brittle and burn after a while (and I am in Melbourne)... and they are in trouble if you have a cat that fancies a bit of a claw sharpening!....in this time of hi tech it really is about time one good one was invented!
  9. Good theory but no sun roof in mine..it is due for a service so I will check it on the hoist while its up there soon..
  10. Had something a bit weird happen today...went and put petrol in the car and noticed fluid dripping from under the driver side rear guard (after filling)...first thought was fuel but it was water...dripped for quite a long time(about 10 minutes) and then seemed to stop. I revisited the fluid reservoir inside the rear on the drivers side but even though i forget what its for (Attessa I think..someone refresh me on this please)..but I am sure its not water any way. My only other thought is that... it did rain over the last day or so and maybe water was sitting somewhere... and filling up the tank somehow (the weight) dis logged some stored water!....any thoughs guys.. Scott.
  11. yep...my older cars had pull to switch on constant high beam ..much easier
  12. Hi ..I think its the same on many Japanese cars... but does any one else find the "Push to activate hight beam" gig annoying?...my FJ holden had a groovy switch on the floor just for high beam...I dont do much long distance night driving so its a minor thing but for someone that did ..the old pull back to activate constant high beam was much easier IMO...flicking forward and back whilst driving is a pain compared to the pull back version....and yes I have got too much time on my hands at the moment!
  13. Car was purchased from Qld importer with kit installed.ie kit was put on in japan by some nice person prior to being sent to oz.
  14. I ended up swapping them for the gold BBS mags that were on the car. The 350z's were on ebay for $400 which I thought was a good price..turned out the guy lived literally around the corner and liked my BBS mags...did a swap...cant do better than that..ended up paying $80 to have the tyres changed to the new wheels.
  15. Dont think I put up a pic on this thread...heres a couple before the new wheels.
  16. Hi all...thought that I would post a couple of pics of the recently acquired 350z wheels. They are 17x8 with 30 offset. 235/45 tyres. I think they look rather nice.. they have the nissan logo in the centre caps and are a dam sight easier to clean than the bbs mesh mags that were on it prior! Cheers.
  17. I noticed someone posted a pic of their car with the back windows down..it reminded me on how many strange looks I would get in summer (I am in Melbourne)..when I had mine down...a lot of people thought they were broken!...just another weird import quirk that makes me smile....its also nice telling people that the windows are UV glass and not tint when they comment on how dark they are!
  18. turns out they were 30 off set..and fit no probs. I will post a pic or two..the 350z wheels look pretty good on the stagea.
  19. Hi all...I know this stuff has a lot of treads and I have been searching but can anyone tell me if 17x8 with a 38 offset will fit my s2. I currently have 35 offset...and even though its only 3m difference..it looks like it might come close to one of the front inner arms.I am looking at a cheap set 350z wheels that are 17x8 38.. thanks. Scott
  20. The info from the Work wheels site is very helpful but I could not see my size listed: 17x8 35 235/45/17 (which I thought was common on stagea)..so its only a guide.. but still handy.
  21. I have been doing a lot of looking around at rims of late. My S2 came with the gold 17' BBS rims that seem to be common. Most 17's look small on the stagea and I will go to 18's unless I find a 17" wheel I like that has spokes that go right to the outer edge of the wheel. In my opinion...the size of the wheel (as far as looks go) depends a lot on the design (and color..ie black wheels look smaller) ...of the wheel ..and I think a wheel with thinnish spokes that go all the way to the edge of the wheel look bigger. These types of wheels, I think, suit the Stagea more than most others...in particular the six spoke (I think) ala the 34 GTR that we see on a lot of stageas. It is a personal thing of course...but thats my slant on the matter. cheers
