  1. I don't know about the R34 kit, but while my kit for the R33 came with piping, it came with no brackets, so my mechanic had to make them up also, which added to the installation costs.
  2. I ordered one from online performance autos, should receive it on Monday or Tuesday. So I guess he only has 2 left now for R33's. I know it costs a bit more through those guys, but I also wanted one badly, and they have always been part of the plans for my car, so I didn't really have an option. Oh and the 12 month Australian warranty is good for peace of mind I guess.
  3. As the title states, I have these 2 items for sale R32 Wastegate Actuator: I bought it off another forum member, but never got the chance to get it installed. $65 Delivered Turbotech Boost controller: Brand new, never used: $30 delivered Thanks guys.
  4. Are there any new rumours as to what 'might' replace the R33 Power FC? Or is it literally the end of the line for Apexi in terms of ECU's for R33's?
  5. I want to get the catco metal one, so PM me if you can organise another group buy for them through BATMBL, as I missed out on the last one and I think it was a decent saving.
  6. Some pics of my pearl white one on Advanti Medusa wheels
  7. I have a 5 speed one, I'm pretty happy with it, definately more of a sleeper look though. I pay about $1100 for full comp through just cars, not sure what it would be for a coupe version.
  8. You can also download the PDF here http://www.gofastvideo.com/gallery/item/pr...kyline-r33.html Just click on the "click here to play video" bit and save as..
  9. Thanks mate it's a good price, my dad is pretty keen after driving my skyline. Your leaving Monday right? Might come and check it out over the weekend if it is still available.
  10. What is involved in putting the engine back in? Is everything there and ready to go back in?
  11. Thanks mate, well I wouldn't mind dropping it a little bit once I have the FMIC done, then down the track I guess the usual stuff like bigger turbo, Power FC, injectors etc... I don't want to go crazy but would def like to get over the 200rwkw mark. The good thing about the 4 doors is that no-one expects (or knows) how well they go. Especially down where I live on the Mornington Peninsula - not a lot of imports down here full stop. But yeh definately plan on some more mods, just need to finish exams and get into them, how about your car? Love the 'bling' wheels! Cheers, Michael
  12. Here's my 97 Series 2 4 Door 5 speed, Current mods are quite minimal: Nismo 3" exhaust Apexi Filter Flyin 3" Dump + Front pipe. Intercooler and boost controller are sitting in the garage ready to go on after exams.
  13. haha, that looks awesome mate, thats a pretty sporty tradies car you have there now!
  14. Thats an awesome price, I may as well bide my time and hope 1 comes up cheap on here. I looked at one website and they wanted $810 for it!
  15. What is a good price to pay for one? They are around $750 aren't they? I'm keen on getting an EBC and am leaning towards the eboost2 as well.
  16. Either a V35 GT Sedan, 6 speed manual, or a BA MkII XR6T, with the 6 speed manual. Probably go the XR6T due to the ease of power upgrades.
  17. I'm no expert, but providing that the car in good condition it should be no different to any other car. Engines are under a lot more stress in stop start driving conditions than cruising, so just keep half an eye on the temperature guage and you should be fine. Providing that you aren't running some crazy boost the stock intercooler will be fine for cruising IMO.
  18. I came from an EBII XR6 Falcon, and the difference is amazing. I was going to get a BA XR6 Turbo, but I don't think I will now as the Skyline just does everything so well. As for drifting - I can't comment because I haven't tried, but I can't recommend the r33 highly enough in my experience. Good value, nice to drive, pretty fast and comfortable on a long drive.
  19. Aussie with Anglo/Spanish heritage. Funnily enough I have been trying to convince my half Thai girlfriend to get a Skyline, but I just can't get her out of the dreaded Camry.
  20. Thanks heaps Benigno, I assume you had some custom piping made up for that one? Very nice setup you got going there.
  21. As the description states, I am after an intercooler to suit a R33 Sedan that does not require the cutting of a hole under the battery tray. I am fairly new to the Skyline scene, but I believe that the ARC and Blitz kits do not require cutting, are there any others? If it is out of the blitz and the arc, what would people recommend, as they are a similar price.
  22. I also want to fit 2 12" subs, and 2 amps into a R33 Sedan boot, does anyone have an idea of box layouts so I can still use some space in the boot?
  23. Well, at least we can agree on one thing
  24. Being a Ford fan, I am sickened by the thought of this.
