Hmmm not good..... I have just striped out the dash and checked the black box... I was hoping that I could take the box apart but it appears to be filled full of some filler type substance Apart from completely destroying the box to inspect it I dont think it will be repairable. . . . The price for 1 replacement unit is $100 which is almost the price of a complete new set ... I have asked them to get prices on 5 or 6 units to get a discount but I dont think its going to make them cheap still.... Any thoughts guys?

I am still using the stock turbo..... When I tell people they usually just scratch their heads and say it cant last long and will probably blow but I have been running it like this for over a year with no probs....

I think you will find most of us installed them ourselves.... that being said I am sure any one of the workshops that are mentioned on these forums can probably install them for you... I wouldnt like to think how much it will cost you though... probably almost as much as it cost to buy the set... I reckon your best bet is to try and organise to meet with one of us who have to remove our one to install the new power supply and do yours at the same time

Yeah I found when installing the guages if they didnt sit perfectly flat the needles would catch as they went around... took a few goes but I managed to get the whole set flat so I dont have those probs..... I remember when I originally picked up the dials the guy at the shop told me that the power supplies have a tendancy to fail after a while so I cant say that I am shocked now... I think this weekend I might pull that power supply out and open it up to see how many of the components are easily replaced ( being that in the most part it is only a basic power supply ) .... depending on whether or not I can replace components inside my one and the price of a replacement unit I will make my decision then.... the only tricky bit perhaps will be that the doesnt just power the dials but through the hand controller it also allows colour change and brightness control so I am guessing their is going to be a certain chip that will be needed... But yeah if we can organise a small group buy and get em cheaper thats even better.... I might even get a second one if they are cheap enough for next year when it breaks again

I have just started experiencing this last week... exactly what you are describing..... I will put my money on the problem being with the black box power supply for the dials.... I have already asked for a price on a replacement unit but the shop hasnt gotten back to me yet....

Well so far it looks like I can get a manual neo stagea imported in Aus for around $31-32,000... and for another 5 grand I can get a 260RS ... which is looking appealing.... although I am not finding many 260's in yellow... few in black though.

Out of curiousity what colours are the two manual neo's??? I am currently looking for a manual but I am only interested in yellow or black..... and yes I know I am picky

Personally I found that when I joined these forums (well before SAUWA was even formed) everyone was friendly, helpfull and knowledgable... After chatting with people through the forums and meeting people face to face at cruises and events it felt like SAU was almost a second family..... these days it doesnt have the same feel.... the friendly atmosphere is gone and the group seems more widespread and not as close as it once was.... That being said I cant see any easy answers to the position we are in these day... :confused:

No probs I think from memory the buttons are as follows..... R2 - Shift Up Gear L2 - Shift Down Gear L1 - Clutch R1 - Handbrake x - accelerate triangle - look behind square - brake From what I can see you can use the digital pad or the analog stick... I have found the analog stick to be better as I find it quicker to respond to the steering

The four bars are handbrake, clutch , accelerator and brake... As for the blue bit I think you have to use the clutch at least once in the blue bit to pass that test

Hi Not trying to be picky but I am looking at exactly the same thing.... From the research I have done I thought that the Stagea RS4 'V' spec was an auto and the Stagea RS4 'S' Spec was the manual??? Brazen was nice enough to give me a ride in his stagea and I loved it.... Almost exactly what I want.... if it was manual it would have been my perfect car

Yep the deal I got was the copy of Gran Turismo 4 and The Driving Force Pro steering wheel for $300. No trade in needed just had to pre order.... Best deal I have seen, got it at EB

Just pre-ordered my copy of GT4 and the steering wheel for $300..... not bad at all..... now just have to wait another week or so for the release
