  1. Hmmm count me out... I dont really want to go under 20,000 for mine ... good luck finding your new beast though
  2. Hey I can bump it once cant I
  3. Well it looks like there will be other "stockish cars entering" so count me in... can we still get the $50 rate???
  4. As I stated I put that price in as a ballpark starting figure... If you notice I have stated clearly its very negotiable, I dont expect to get that price but you need a starting figure... If I dont sell it, it wont bother me as I am very happy with it. I just thought it would be nice to buy a R34. Either way at the end of the day I am going to be happy... Might even buy the R34 regardles as I think you can get a nice one for around $35,000.
  5. Nah Mine is better!!!! :bahaha: Here is my ad http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=36585 Sorry Cam.... I couldnt resist
  6. Paul I dropped the money to Steve on saturday. Hopefully he has already passed it onto you
  7. I may as well jump on the band wagon here... I am also considering selling mine, as much as I love it I would like a R34... mine is in really good condition, has a few mods putting out a good power figure and the price is negotiable
  8. " I am relatively carefree and have a good driving history" Yeah I give double glances to all new cars and slow down at everything on the side of the road.... But I would like to think in the most part I know when and where it is more appropriate to enjoy the fruits of my automobile
  9. Hiya, I would like to guage whether there would be any interest my my R33 GTST as I am looking at the possibilty of upgrading to an R34 GT - T .... I would like to start in the ballpark of 23,000 but is of course negotiable. Of the top of my head the list of details/mods include... 1995 Manual Model, 105,000km's regularly serviced at respected workshops ( XSpeed,SST) Mods include: Turbo back HKS exhaust HKS Air Pod HKS Turbo Timer HKS Type S Intercooler kit Apexi AVC-R Apexi SAFC II Heavy Duty Clutch Front and Rear Strut Tower Bars Possibly an aftermarket chipped ECU but this hasnt been confirmed Top of the line Alarm/Immobiliser GTR Rear Wing Nismo front spoiler Sideskirts Dyno'ed at SST resulting in 302rwhp More than happy to answer any queries as I may have left out some obvious details that I cant think of right now...
  10. Cool... Thanks for the replies thus far... I was planning on specifying a grade 4 - 4.5 with no accident damge in stock from to minimise the probs on getting it through.... I must admit I was hoping the compliancing would have been cheaper though... I am awaiting some further details from both Geoff and other sources... will have to see what $$$ they come back with
  11. Why are the compliancing costs so hi... the actually moddifications themselves are rather cheap aint they??? Isnt it the usual... mirrors/tyres/seatbelts etc ... or is the plate itself expensive???
  12. I have checked out there website also... but this company in japan reckons they can get an R34 GT-T for 18,000 max shipped to Aus... I dont think I have seen anywhere that cheap before...
  13. Hi Guys and Girls... Yes its another person asking for advice... I have checked the other threads around here and done the searches but also want to be armed with the most current information possible... I would also like different points of view.... I have made enquiries with a company in japan that will browse the auctions on your behalf, purchase the vehicle and ship it too you. The prices they give for cars ( I am considering and R34 GT-T ) seem very cheap. This includes the price of the car and there shipping charge... Apart from compliancing would privately importing a car from japan be hit for any other charges upon entering australia? Do people have in success/horror stories as I also have the fear that every person gets where the money I deposit/pay for the vehicle will be lost overseas for nothing in return... Basically I wouldnt mind a little help of the run downs of do's and dont's and anything under the new RAWS etc that may cause myself headaches... Thanks in advance
  14. Hmmm my predessor to my R33 was my VL Turbo... yes a Holden Commodore... But at least the heart of the car was a Nissan
  15. Provided a suitable time is picked then count me in.... I would love to find out how to change my own oils and basic upkeeping tasks and possibly so "bolt on mods"
  16. Paul. Please put me down as one confirmed XL ... will drop money to SST or get it to you by other means.... never know... if I get the shirt I may even participate in the event too
  17. Sounds like some plans are already shaping up.... It should be a good time as I would like to think (others will back me up here) that the group we have in W.A is probably one if the best in Aus... we all get along great and our events make for a good time... and if you are planning to go to the little creatures brewery and we can get a decent group together I will try to get my friends to get a discount for us, as they kinda know the owner ( S & T if you are reading this .... thats means you!!! ) Oh well back to your scheduled thread
  18. Interested.. If all goes to plan I will be in touch..... Would just need to sell my car before hand
  19. Id say your guess is pretty close.... but I would guess there would be a few more that 20 R33 GTR's crawling the streets of Perth...
  20. Congrats Aidwin Its nice to see your concerns about the tires werent to bad...
  21. Hmmm I feel jipped.... I am paying approx 1200 per year with RAC and I am 25 with a full no claim bonus and have only 1 demerit point lost.... edit: My car is also insured for 26500 agreed...
  22. Thats absolutely great news Liz .... I am really happy for you
  23. Hmm last I heard isnt it illegal to use your high beams anyway??? P.S I want a set of those purple xenons
  24. I turn 25 this week... its only down hill from here
  25. Hmmm I rebuilt my PC a couple of weeks ago.... I think from memory when I backed them up the saved games were under something like C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataNeed for Speed Underground... or something like that.... I think you will find that the Application Data folder will be hidden also so you will need to make sure you settings are setup so that it displays hidden files and folders... Hope that helps somewhat...
