  1. Did it have a passenger side airbag? If not it is going to be a series 1...
  2. Heya everyone... Just wanted to put a link here for us locals who may be looking at buying a new car in the near future, I am looking to sell my skyline as I have my eyes on something different... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=65041 Hope the mods dont mind my post in here either... Thanks
  3. Heya, Got a family these days so I am looking to move across to a Stagea, as much as I love my car its more practical. Not in a hurry though so I will just see what happens... 1995 Black Manual Model, regularly serviced at respected workshops ( XSpeed,SST) Mods include: Turbo back HKS exhaust HKS Air Pod HKS Turbo Timer HKS Type S Intercooler kit Apexi AVC-R Apexi SAFC II Heavy Duty Clutch Front and Rear Strut Tower Bars Possibly an aftermarket chipped ECU but this hasnt been confirmed Top of the line Alarm/Immobiliser GTR Rear Wing Nismo front spoiler Sideskirts 17" 5 Spoke rims Illuminous Dash Guages Alpine CD Player Dyno'ed at SST resulting in 302rwhp More than happy to answer any queries as I may have left out some obvious details that I cant think of right now... Will upload pictures later on. Looking at around $20,000 negotiable depending on the circumstances... Thanks Edit: Added 1 photo... This photo is slightly old, I now have black mesh in front of the cooler
  4. Thanks guys.... I live in near warwick and work smack bang in the middle of the city (QV1).... I would love to take up either of the offers, It will give me a chance to see how they run and perhaps give me a chance for a quick chat on both your experiences with them so far...
  5. Hi Guys, I have been doing alot of research into importing my own stagea over the last month and I am pretty keen to go ahead with it, the only thing is I havent actually been in one yet..... I was wondering if any of the Perthies would be generous to let me have a ride around the block just to give me some piece of mind that I am not going to hate my car when it gets here if its not for me.... If not I will have to go find a car yard perhaps *starts thinking* Thanks
  6. Yep I will now totally agree with you there after doing a bit more research... I have now ruled out the auto to manual conversion... So its back to the broker to go check the prices at auction again...
  7. I am going through the research of this right now too actually..... Trying to weigh up if its worth importing the manual version or doing the conversion when it gets here..... After speaking to my broker It apears the autos can be bought at aution as low as 7 grand cheaper then the manual which is what I want to... now the questions I am going around trying to solve is it worth paying the extra or doing the conversion here, should I take the gear box out of a GTS-4 and I have an added problem of wanting the slightly later model with the NEO engine which comes with the tiptronic auto... so looks like there are some added difficulties.... but I am going to go talk with my mechanic today to find out whats the best plan....
  8. I think the type 'S' is going to be harder to find as from what I have seen at least locally here in perth they have all been auto's.... But I guess with a little patience or even importing one yourself it is possible. I have seen a few being sold at auction so they are out there
  9. Heya guys.... Just looking for a little advice from some people that have already walked the path of buying and modding stagea's.... I currently have the all too common R33 GTST with just over 300rwhp with mild mods.... and whilst I am very happy with it I am very tempted to trade it in for a stagea Now I have been doing a bit of research and the model I am liking the look of is the 1998 25t RS FOUR 'S'.... With 4WD , NEO 2.5 litre turbo and manual I think would give me a nice start to work with. I guess what I am wondering is although the model I am looking for is looking hard to find I am wondering what things I should be aware of when looking at making the purchase.... I would eventually like to mod it to make it similar to the MASA Motorsports one with R34 front end conversion But looking at the online shops line Taka and Nengun I am not seeing alot of support for stagea parts... I am guessing they are out there though, things like full turbo back HKS exhaust and Intercooler packages? I guess I am just looking for some piece of mind that Moving across to a stagea will be worth the time and effort Thanks guys
  10. I will go a red I think..... Already got shirts in blue and black from SAU .... trying to collect the set
  11. Registering interest for 1 XL shirt and 1 lanyard
  12. Sounds great... and perfect timing as that is right in the middle of my holidays...... so no need to worry about work on the Monday
  13. Looking good so far.... Also looking forward to seeing you out and about on the streets in the future....you need to bring it to a SAUWA event in future so I can check it out.... Always been interested in the Stagea's and their potential
  14. Im 25 and insured with Torque through EBM.... costing me around $1200 a year for coverage of about $26000 ..... Havent had to make a claim yet but so far it seems ok.....
  15. One question for thos that have played it online so far... when playing online can you still cruise around the city??? Basically are you able to bump into other races in the living city or is it like in number one where you just do it in a menu style system and go straight into the race????
  16. It isnt out in Australia...Its the American version ( NSTC-U ) which I got brought into the country.... I dont ever think it will be released as an Australian version unfortunately..... I have basically completed it... except a few wanderers I havent gottne around to doing..... Yeah some of those supras later in the game are damn fast..... If they get past you, you lose
  17. Tokyo Extreme Racing Zero was a great game.... played it for hours and hours... cant go past the speed kings car though The newer version is Tokyo Extreme Racing 3..... I have just finished playing that... Took me a few weeks to complete putting in several hours a day.... If you liked Tokyo Extreme Racnig Zero you should defianately get Tokyo Extreme Racing 3.... Its more of the same but better graphics and a few extra bits and pieces...
  18. Its not a bad game..... Havent tried all the cars out yet but I can confirm the Rx7 gets very sideways .... probably similar to the 350z... Its still a bit of fun with a good variety of modifying parts, the ability to put your car on the dyno and damage to the cars also
  19. Dont worry the title has been picked up by another company but the bad news is it wont be released until June next year
  20. Cool Game..... Single Player campaign far to short and a bit easy for my liking..... would have been better with campaigns for the other races also....
  21. For what its worth I am using a HKS type S kit and I have been very happy with the results since I got it over a year ago.....
  22. I wouldnt be too worried about naming names as the Mod Stop is listed in the phone directory, have a legitimate shop with very obvious signage and all they do is mod playstations.... I would guess they rely largely on word of mouth and having a good reputation.... If they were worried about breaking the law they wouldnt have a shop on a main road???
  23. I think from memory my Mod chip cost about $140 fitted in a hour ... That was about 4 months ago....
  24. Nope Mod Shop no longer does them.... The place you are looking for is "Mod Stop".... They use the Magic V mod chip and from experience I can say it works pretty well.... The Mod Stop is also on Orrong road.....
  25. Put me down for one of each in XL .... and I will probably add to this order a few more shirts later.... Thanks
