stock body is pretty dope, espesh on some 15's. hard decision, but ive got time, not doing anything this time, so wont be until next year i touch its looks
-
the main reason im thinking 15's is cos i wanna run like 185's for street, slows down the skids a little bit and makes it easier to train with people on the street
-
lol that's happening either way, just depends whether it will be 15's and no kit, or 18's and big f**k off kit

sold the wheel, the boss kit is still here, $40. -
look at this interior, f**k yeh!! haha, all it needs now is some VIP food trays and dildo gear knob.
-
it will be my streeter for japan, so will do the daily duties when i stay over there, also used for skids on the street, and as a final backup if my missiles break. will slowly mod it while it's over there, wondering if i should go the slammed stock kit on 15's look, or the big kit and 18's look. definitely no missiling this car, it will probably be my first import i actually take care of the looks with it haha thinking something like this: http://carher0.files.wordpress.com/2010/04...w=800&h=600 http://carher0.files.wordpress.com/2010/04...w=800&h=532 once it's done it's 2 years, ill bring it back as a personal import and street it here
-
nah mate, just spent like 1.5k getting shaken on it, gonna use the full 2 years on it haha. unless i stack it and plate swap it over there with another c33

nisskid replied to davo33's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
hey mate, this: "ofset. 18 9-1/2" makes no sense. i'm assuming they are 18x9.5 in size, but you haven't mentioned the offset. find the offset out and it will help you sell them. my guess is either +35 or +40 judging by the spoke angle. -

Alright, i have a KAAZ 1.5way mechanical diff out of my car. it's a great diff, i wouldnt be selling it if i didnt need the $$. i drove around with it as a daily up at a ski resort where there was ice, snow and wet everywhere and didnt have any issues with it slipping or skipping around tight corners or anything, barely anything with 3 point turns either. but on the track it was beautiful, no signs of any open wheeling, extremely predictable, with great turn in. this comes with an R32 housing, and half shafts, but i also have a R33 backing cover i can put on it which will make it fit a S14 and R33, so it will be ready to bolt straight in, dont have to take the centres out. Specs: Kaaz 1.5way Mechanical 4.11 ratio fits turbo R32/R33/S14 5 bolt half shafts 4 bolt tail ALSO HAVE A R32 DRIVESHAFT AND AXLES FOR SALE $850 Located near Mitcham in SA, can send anywhere in Aus at buyers expense. here's some pics of the actual diff:

Best Brand Of Shocks For R32
nisskid replied to lammi's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
i havent dealt with super lows before, so i'm unsure of their length. but if you want to go lower, without having the springs uncaptive, you have to do either 2 things, take the height out in other places, either before or after where the spring sits, anything length that is taken out here will make ur car lower. now if you're running king springs which sit in the standard seats, it means there's not much you can do, as the top of the spring is only a few mm of steel, and without serious fabrication, you can't really do anything below the lower spring seat. the other option is adding in helper springs, this is ur best option. i don't know what is available in the king spring's size, my guess is not much if anything. you're best bet is probably from the rolla boys, pretty sure they run some huge ID spring coilovers with helpers. but you're best solution, although most expensive, is new low ID springs, with custom top seats, adjustable lower coilover sleeves, and then just some helpers for them. -

adjustment is useless for most people on this site, bilstein are the best solution for most people on here, who want something to set and leave. Koni's are a good option for anyone looking for a solution, and for what ever reason they need damper adjustment. but unless you know how to tune shocks and have the resources to properly do so, you're better off with the bilsteins. if anyone is interested in bilsteins, drop me a line, i can get them cheap from the states (i'm bringing some over for myself, easy to chuck more in for others and saves on postage etc) -
