  1. what model tri-spoke advans? tri-spoke is generally a pretty bad design, less distribution of spoke strength, i personally wouldnt run any of the tri-spoke models on a hard track car i dont think any, maybe the super advans, maybe, are really track orientated. although 6 years isnt that bad i guess, i still dont like the idea of wheels failing without incident.

  11. yep, something ill definitely have to look into.
  12. yeh im just slightly weary of swaying away from the stock 0 deck height with quench pads. the idea is the build a budget reliable revver, i dont want to introduce any detonation issues.
  13. haha boooo!! should have got ur drink on and kept driving. i reckon for anyone not wanting to do all 4 sessions, rock up late, and do the last sessions, they are always the best, way more track time, and especially this time, dry track
  14. i agree, but i dont hate rain cos its hard, tbh it's easier (just harder for most people cos we arent used to it as most praccies are dry, this was my first wet praccy at mallala), i hate it cos it's boring. all i have to do is a little flick of the wheel and im out sliding, then ive got a year to think about what im doing, i like having to have to yank the wheel as hard as i can to get it out, then smash it back the other way to transition, and then before i have a chance to think im straightening the car up out of turn 2 and have nfi what just took place in the last 30 seconds. honestly when it was wet i was getting out of turn 2 with barely a raise heart beat, in the dry im buzzing til i get round to line up.
  15. hey guys, wondering if the following RB block can have a bit of deck shaved out of them, and if so how much? also factory block deck heights? engines concerned that i need answers for are RB25/RB26/RB30, if u got the height for a 20 may as well chuck that up as well. cheers
  16. yeh saw that, from in the pits haha, sparks everywhere. one reason why arse drags are dangerous, gives u much less time to adjust on final transition, saying that last night scandos were A LOT more dangerous haha
  17. session 4 was 95% dry, fun was had. session 3 was patchy as f**k, sketchy, but at least its faster than all wet haha
  18. ahk, might just rock up then and pay the $5 there, dont want to waste the judges time going over my car haha
  19. im just not getting it haha i cant see one that works for me, i just want to do sprint and show, or just sprint if show is more than like $20 not too fussed about the dinner. so im thinking sprint only, with the extra individual entry to the show and shine? so $185 total?
  20. im so confused, surely there is a basic price breakdown somewhere? how much for the track day and the show, no judging, no gifts, no shit like that.
  21. i was going to, but so farkin expensive!
  22. mine doesnt even look good from a distance tho
  23. im gonna enter, just not sure whether i wanna enter show and shine or not
  24. love it
  25. thats f**king tuff mate
