  1. nah not really, it's ur tyre rubbing, might make a bit of a mess of the thin metal at the seams that comes off the rails, but nothing structural.
  2. going to try and modify my current set, well the rears at least, making them 17x10 +12, which will allow me to run 25mm spacers up front to make the fronts 17x9 -1, this will give me tonnes of clearance up front.
  3. Alright guys, the 32 is going into retirement for a few months after the last round of G1 this year, so opening up my stockpile of drift tyres that i usually use to drift on as i wont need them for a while, and would rather clear up some space. as well as the rest of the tyres i've got lying around. 4. with 17x9 +30 and 235/45 and spacers i can almost guarentee u its on the chassis rails. not much u can do but go lower offset, smaller tyre, or longer LCA's (R33 etc). nigels knuckles will lower the ackerman, as well as give u more lock, so to even consider getting the most lock out of those ur gonna have to go 17x9 +10ish
  5. Pirelli do the PZero in GTR sizes.
  6. yes he does skylines too, ill be getting mine done soon.
  7. they could at least fill the guards if they are gonna put wider ones on.
  8. only decent skyline they brought in was the R32 GTR, and that was in a limited 100 vehicles. besides that an australian spec R31/R30 were sold in our domestic markets, but these were very low spec. pretty much all the turbo skylines u see in Aus are grey, imported personally into australia, not by nissan. as a side note, the R35 GTR is brought in both by nissan australia, and personally (on a very small scale).
  9. could also be that we have a bigger aftermarket here for skylines, tonnes of workshops here specialise in skylines and other grey imports, so we dont have to go to the dealer. im sure if there werent better options we'd be using nissan dealers here too.
  10. by finding the disk type or measuring them urself.
  11. dont know, u havnt given enough info. offset doesnt define caliper clearance.
  12. possibly with stretch, but not easily. will foul on UCA with 225/45 or bigger
  13. yeh personally i just think the style completely misses the style of the car.
  14. updated.
  15. i wouldnt touch nissan australia with a 10ft pole, unless i had 22 kidneys.
  16. dont be stupid people, dont grind it off. you can simply unbolt them... upper control arms are over rated.
  17. 16x6.5 +40 and yes they will fit.
  18. ghetto isnt the word id use, in fact id aim for the opposite of that lol they are a bit "showy" for my liking.
  19. Tyrepower Adelaide, they look after a lot of the drifters and import scene here.
  20. the problem is, to change coilovers u dont need a specialist, anyone who's worked on a car with coilovers (majority of cars on the road) will know the basic procedure, nuts that hold it to the top, nuts that hold it to the bottom, multi-link suspension being even easier. undo bolts, swap over, tighten bolts, done. it really isnt much of a science. as far as springs go and getting them right, look u may have to pull apart the coilover, but even then its a matter of undoing a nut and pulling the top off. honestly this stuff is as basic as it gets, to be charging that much is ridiculous.
  21. the biggest let down of the car imo would look 10x better with decent wheels. every time i see the car i cringe at the wheels.
  22. how much do ur workshops charge an hour on average? id say ours would be somewhere around the $80 mark give or take
