  1. cheers man, wont be easy, but should be a ball.
  2. ah ok, yep G1 has always been cheaper. G1's are like drift practices with competition basically, DA and no doubt DSC are more like a typical national motorsport event, girls, trader stands, on track entertainment etc, theres a lot more to see and do.
  3. i havnt grinded mine, mine have been through regency as is and arent "defactable"
  4. lol
  5. i found standard wheels with 225/50's scrub on the rails, but my 17x9 +24's with 235's didnt have an issue.
  6. i f**king knew it.
  7. well, i prefer the term rack spacer.
  8. yet they have a spare 25k+ to buy a GTR with which they plan to rape with poor modification. its simple, if u cant afford to modify ur car properly, dont modify it at all.
  9. should be. what annoys me is that of all the ADR laws, they chose to relax on wheel diametre, yet leave stuff like wheel width and the rest of the stupid ADR laws there are.
  10. this is a National event, replacing Drift Australia, you will be seeing the best drivers in Australia battling side by side, $25 is peanuts for what ur getting. btw ill be there in street class, should be a great day, make sure u tell everyone u know about it and keep National level drift in SA alive. btw if i remember right, DA was the same $$, so i dont know what the issue is?
  11. lock spacers, done.
  12. o no! it's illegal!!! now cops will defect my car unlike before where they just would have let me off!!

  15. he has a point...
  16. yeh, there's no right or wrong way to go about it, if u dont plan on scrubbing rails or walls and u want ur car to look clean, professional is the way, but if ur not really fussed about minor details and u just want some more clearance, pole/hammer/clamps are fine.
  17. yeh, which is really the only way they should be used in those circumstances, using them for tuning is absolutely useless in 99% of cases. but honestly, for the $$ difference, id rather buy a better damper without adjustment for the same $$, a good front damper will have a good digressive curve that will give u the same roll control but give u a softer ride over bumps. obviously that only goes to a certain point, if u had the $$ ud just go a high end adjustable damper, then learn how to tune ur dampers to a very basic level.
  18. its hard to say, no point having quality parts if they arent setup well together. for the street i think a softish spring and a well suited quality damper is all u need. there is no "better" but for the street, i just dont see the point in having hard suspension.
  19. yeh might do, not sure if i should let marky have a crack or not first as he wont charge me fark all.
  20. RACK spacers are fine, the issue is when u have modified knuckles for extra lock (and less binding at high speeds), they make the steering much more sensitive and can make the car unstable at speeds. but just rack spacers are fine, all they do is allow the rack to travel futher.
  21. exactly, as a minimum u want to keep the lip, just folded up against the guard.
  22. my thoughts exactly, poles ftw. and i mean that in the most heterosexual way.
  23. 17x9 -1 all round, 225/45 rear, 205/50 front. mods are flared guards.
