yeh not a great feeling to know your tax dollars are going to support a bunch of drop kicks spend their days going around breaking shit, getting drunk, chroming and starting fights. they dont just drain on the society, they f**k it up as well. they bring nothing good to the world, the most useful thing they could do is be buried 6ft under and provide nutrients to the plants above.

thing is, they need to be shot. like i wanna be realistic here, they are just scum, the only thing that makes them a threat is their lack of respect for anything, anyone and themselves, they dont care what happens to them, and that is dangerous. f**k rehabilitation, just dispose of them and be done with it. its a hard view, but honestly some times civilisation needs to grow some balls and stand the f**k up for itself. the only reason they are able to keep doing what they are doing is the law as ironic as it is, it doesnt do shit when they are caught, and if anyone was to do the world a favour and killed one of these things they would end up behind bars. and for people thinking, oh there life isnt worth some vandilism here and there, its not just that, they hunt in gangs and pick on people without numbers, they roll them and sometimes just beat them for the hell of it, its only a matter of time before they kill someone if they havnt already. ive had quite a few groups of aborignals try and start with me, luckily theres usually cops near by or im not far away from my mates.

hey guys, after a recent track day, i went to check my pneumatic boost controller and noticed the bolt in the end of the controller had actually come out and was chilling down in a crevis in the engine bay (lucky as fark), anyway put it back in and tried it in a few positions, but didnt seem to go above around 10psi which is around stock in my car, as in that is a bout what id get if i just ran a vacuum line straight to the actuator without the bleed. now only can think of one main thing: when the bolt has come out, a small component has come out with it, i think it has a ball bearing and spring or something in it?? this is the controller here im talking about: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/go...ntr-t73375.html a few things to know: it has recently had a new dump put on where it has a screamer for the wastegate, cant see how it would affect it. the turbo is a stock R33 one on an RB20, using an RB20 actuator. besides that i have nfi what ive done since the last time it was boosting up around 12-13psi as its been a while (was turned down a while back, also had to go through regency etc etc) so yeh, any suggestions? is it possible for some components to fall out if the bolt isnt in screwed in?
-
if it's so loud cant u just chuck ur head in the engine bay and listen for it? get someone in the car loading up the engine etc.
-
check things like boost controller/vacuum line going from elbow to actuator, vacuum line to boost gauge off the plennum, aftermarket or stock, also other vacuum lines off the plennum.

clocked up a few too many K's i take it?

yeh i think ive seen her around as well, brown eyes, black hair, 5'5" ish? nice ride, looks clean.

f**k this kind of shit makes me feel sick. SAU group buy on hand guns?
-
i will never understand "spotting posts" like these lol
-
it does matter, just not as much. light wheels help ur suspension absorb bumps better and transfer less shock into the chassis, better ride comfort, handling (grip), accleration and braking. how much u notice it depends i guess.
-
lol, why buy the genuine thing when u can buy a cheaper cast copie for more?
-
lol mods are the least of ur worries going through inspection mate, its the roadworthy stuff ull get pinned on. it depends on the inspector and their impression of ur car, but as an example i have been failed for things like a small tear in my drivers seat, a patch of oil about 1" in diametre in my engine bay etc etc, ive been pretty lucky in the past though as i go completely over the car, tidy everything up, degrease the engine, spray the underside of the car, and since ive been through the process and know what they look at i pass 1st go most of the time. when my car came in from Japan i took it to a compliance place and on top of the actual compliance work they gave me 2 pages worth of shit to fix/replace myself before going through regency, and the car was in pretty good nick, so there's not heaps to do before i go through each time now days as most of it has been fixed to get through regency not long before but its still at least about 20hrs of work to get the car ready for regency each time.

so we are agreed, transport SA have nfi what they are doing?

yeh he'd go to the murray bridge one which i heard wasnt as bad, but still not fun.

How To Change Adelaide's Ways In Modified Cars
nisskid replied to lunacys13's topic in South Australia
legal ones lol i ended up going through with all those defects through regency, tyres werent the same as i sold them with the wheels, but the tyres i ended up going through were 225 width as well, so effectively the same. regency denied me for chassis rails being out of spec, went back to my crashie and they said they were within industry standard and perfectly legal. unfortunately i needed to show proof of work, so even if i just went back through regency, had a different inspector who said yeh they are fine, without proof of work i couldnt pass. so i had to get the crashies to go back over the rails and clean everything up further, and as my car was my job (delivery driver) i couldnt get an income until i could drive my car on the road, since i didnt have much $$ the shop made the work low priority to save some $$ which meant the work took ages (over a month even tho it was like a few days work at most). so a few months down the track, no income, no car, broke as f**k. i finally scrape together enough $$ to go through regency, passes with flying colours, unfortunately im now out of a job so even with the car i had no way of income. owell, that's my story of being communally f**ked by both SAPOL and regency. quite a few hundred $$ down, no income for 2 or more months and no job to come back to all because a few uneducated cops thought they knew whats best. this is a f**ked system, i dont care what anyone says. -
How To Change Adelaide's Ways In Modified Cars
nisskid replied to lunacys13's topic in South Australia
not completely true, i spent a lot of time researching and a lot of money on the right parts to keep my car legal, only to turn around and be slapped in the face by SAPOL's finest. my latest trip to regency was over "suspension too hard" (roughly 3.5kg/mm all round), having intercooler piping, tyres too wide (225's) and exhaust too low (cat was visible below the level of the chassis rails lol, the cat which is sitting in the stock position) -
lol u ever been defected before?

How To Change Adelaide's Ways In Modified Cars

lol any car that is gonna cost 3-4k to get off defect probably deserved to get defected. i doubt it will cost you that man, unless you have badly bent chassis rails or an unengineerable engine in ur car it shouldnt cost u much, maybe a few bushes and safety issues neatened up, then just find some people that will lend u stock parts to swap over when u go through regency, -
nah, he was talking about it at the time though, he hadnt brought it in yet though. only had the yellow FD at the time.

yeh ive had my 2 piece wheels done, just pull them apart and give them the disk. budget for about $200ish for the 4. i recommend these guys for all ur powder coating needs: Edwardstown Powdercoating 9 Lagunta Ave Edwardstown SA 5039 ph: (08) 8277 9500 they have a lot of experience with wheels and are a great bunch of blokes. i went there because they quoted the best price and didnt screw around with the quote either.

did u use streeter? $2500 seems pretty steep for XD9's, unless that was with new tyres.
