  1. Fined for fog lights? Original or aftermarket ones ?
  2. AAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAA. I'd turn around for sure to ask him to show me his ghost turbo. LoL!
  3. RAC said they don't insure my car, which is a r33 GTS-t. Maybe it's too old . SGIO quoted me 5grand a year. 23yr old clean record. Been drivin for almost 4 yrs
  4. LoL. Does Just Cars have the same policy? I wonder... *digs up policy*
  5. Forestor? A skyline having more clearance? You must be lookin at a lowered forester man. I highly doubt a skyline stock to a forester stock (no body kits nothing). Has more clearance.
  6. Did that today! Thanks for the head's up! Cheers!
  7. a more rigid chasis helps a lot.
  8. Alritey! I would love to get a set! But i needa get some $$ first, hopefully before the last set goes! Thanks man!
  9. http://rvcs-prodweb.dot.gov.au/sevs/042-00.htm oops... my bad. the r33 is the one you can't import 4 door non turbo http://rvcs-prodweb.dot.gov.au/sevs/030-00.htm
  10. WHAT A BEAUTY ! http://www.gizmag.com.au/go/4808/ Some details: 1,001 hp 16-cylinder engine 1,250 Nm at 2,200 rpm top speed 407 km/h four turbochargers permanent four-wheel drive. 1.3 Million USD. This car smokes anything in it's way man. Except Full flegged drag cars that is.
  11. Actually, i can think of 1 vehicle that won't roll over that easily. The hummer. The bloody body is so wide, the cg is much lower... but hey.. you're talkin about the bugatti of cars for jeeps. Thou it still costs only a fraction of what the bugatti veyron is priced at.
  12. Almost or the whole range of subaru now offers 4wd right? I think. Like the legacy GT. =) There you go! But your X-trail is fine dude.
  13. I personally like the forester too. This is the kinda cars pple should be drivin!! 4WD with the comforts of a normal sedan, and the option to go onto the beach when needed. I used to drive the 3 door rav4 02 model. Not that huge a vehicle. I kinda liked it for it's very car feel, rather than a jeep. And i liked the looks of it too . That's one of the small 4wd's what i think are... err... pretty? I agree with the last point. A german car BMW, and Merc. Or a sweedish car. Volvo. Personally. Volvo would be more for saftey IMO. Esp the older Volvos. Did the person who created volvos build tanks previously? Merc and BMW for style and comfort and also saftey.
  14. non turbo sedans can't be imported if i'm not wrong. Something to do with power to weight ratio under SEVS.
  15. Sorry to be such a pain in the arse... but i'd like to know the specific model so i can do some research on it. Apparently from what i check bilstein only has 1 specific model for the R33, which is the B6 Sport. Is this the one? And i'm a complete dumbass in cars.. have loads to learn, so here comes another question, is the dampening rates or bound and rebout set stiffer or softer with ur setting? Hope you don't mind the dumb questions. Cheers!
  16. disturb, xtrail is pretty much alright. I'm comparing to the huge ones. Like the Prado, Landcruiser , and whatever huge 4x4 u have here.
  17. Well. I don't know about you people. But when it says 60. I'm definitely at 60. No more. No less. Unless when approaching a red light that is. But even so. I would think a skyline goin at 70 would be able to shed more speed than say, and landcruizer with off road tyres at 60.
  18. i don't know if the ballasts do get hot, so if u were to make a box for it. Do be careful!
  19. You can mount it onto the wheel arch.. where u usually have ur cone filter installed and braced to. The other side is the same, right next to the fuse box. I've examined the places to install, but haven't gotten down to installing due to the exams. Will do so after my exams... although installing it is really tempting! hahaha
  20. What model is the bilstein suspension ?
  21. Remember to get 15A fuses. If it dosn't work, check the fuse, cause the initial start draws a lot of currunt. Don't allow the ballast to have metal contact with the car, that's what the mounting plates are for. And take ur time to install it! hahaha Good luck!
  22. My point is that the skyline would be able to brake in time, thus not as great an impact if it does. Where else the jeep wouldn't. And because of that, if there is a hit, the kid would sustain fractures and nothing too serious. Where else the tank would just give it to the kid and the kid wouldn't survive. This is based on 60km/hr with almost ample stoping time for a car. I know if it's 90km/hr. No one would survive that.
  23. What suspension is available for the R33 GTS-t ? And how much is it to Perth? Thanks

    Shoxx

I'm not lookin for anything low man. I'm already having trouble with the lowering springs which is the legal height. I'm happy with my height, i just want something that's good for normal driving, and some spirited driving. I like bilsteins, they make good shocks, but i was under the impresson they were non adjustables. Not height settings, but the bound settings.
  25. Bank me the $$. He'll pass the hid to me (he stays 3 mins drive away) and i'll pass him the $$, pick it up from me in curtin uni. I stay on campus. LoL. Just offering some help if u really need it.
