That's the thing, i know u can't get the best of both worlds unless u go active air sup... which costs a bomb, but i'm thinking a little comfort, and a little handling, someone in the grey area in the middle. coil overs are crazy man, they are rock hard, but i know they handle better. I ain't gonna track my car everyday... so yeah. Neo, the bilsteins u have are non adjustables right? If u get the wrong sping height for the shocks, they die pretty quick. So that's another issue. How much lower is ur car?

Just wonderin to those whom have changed their shocks. What band and model are you using? Coilovers? How's the feel of it? Cause i'm lookin into a set of konis or bilstein in the near future. Any reccomendations? Please don't tell me tein, cause ain't gonna afford it. The only problem with the bilstein is they are non adjustable and it's supposed to sit the same height as the normal shocks. I know koni adjustables are not really good as the really good ones where u can set rebound... but hey... it'll do for the occasional track. Oh yeah, it's for the r33. I realised a lot of r32's change them, not as much r33's Did a search and came out with nothing conclusive.
  3. I have a few japanese housemates, and they all tell me the same thing. 80K on a car that's 10 yrs old? Extremely Rare. They agreed if the car was based in tokyo, then it would be possible, but if the car is based in the suburbs and all, it's highly impossible, the odometer would definitely be tuned. And this is comming from pple who are from Japan. I agree that there are cars with low kms, but it's rare. Most of the logbooks and stuff are faked too from what they say. So it really depends on your luck if you get a true k's or a faked k's. There's a way to tell if it's real or faked, something to do with taking out the speedos i think. Cheers! =)
  4. Wanna sell my standard exhaust for the R33. Anyone interested in buying?
  5. I don't hate jeeps, i used to drive a rav4 3 door. But a point some pple are trying to make is. Yes it is safer, but at the inconsideration of others. SOME (not many, just a few i've noticed) big 4wd drivers think that since their car is bigger, they have the bloody right of way. And the fact that they think so is already a big mistake. It means they have no bloody due care for other pple's safety. These are the pple whom should have their bloody liscense revoked for life. Another issue is, you know how sometimes pple are not as inclined to driving as others? But they still have a liscense? Yes. They purchase these tanks with the idea that if they hit someone, at least they're safe. What is the point in that? Can't they just buy something smaller so that they can handle it better? And with that, if they hit someone, there won't be as much damage? I agree on the fact that they are safe. But only to themselves. Imagine a kid who runs out onto the road with an oncomming vehicle. If it were a jeep with a bull bar, and it jam brakes, the stopping distance is further no doubt, thus the speed the jeep hits the kid would be realitvely high, with the addition of a bull bar FOR DECORATIVE PURPOSES, won't help either. Hitting ABS plastic with more surface area is much better than hitting a solid metal bar. Imagine the car as a skyline, better brakes, lower CG, due to performance, better tyres. Brakes in time, or just almost in time, speed to hit the kid is not as bad, and it's low. Broken leg maybe? Where else the jeep is high, ruptured spleen, internal bleeding, internal injuries... death. Now, imagine that IS YOUR KID. Would u rather have ur kid dead or having a broken leg? Jeeps are made for the offroad and country side, it should be kept that way. Cheers.
  6. new AFM ? How much did u pay for it ?
  7. yes it definitely could. Cause if it's drawing air , and it's not going through the airflow sensor, the air flow sensor won't read the correct amount of air going through. But seeing it's before the air flow, the air flow sensor might have gotten dirty. Non filtered air = dirty air. Get it fixed + clean ur air flow sensor. It should work fine after that.
  8. /me distributes C4 to everyone. Have fun!

    Heyy

hrmmm. Why in the world is ur insurance so cheap!!! I'm 23. Clean record, FMIC, BOV, Exhaust, CAI and Cheap rims, i'm payin 1400! Well at least it'll be 1k next year.. BUT STILL! Argh. Stupid insurance companies. Forgot to add. It's a R33 GTS-t. Sheesh.
  10. I take it that the stuff ain't in yet?
  11. I've got a serious 1. Apparently the stall issue is also how u tune the blow off (from what i heard, how true it is, i don't know), the pressure spring tightness. But by right, it shouldn't. Most.. or almost all cars after installing it dosn't have any probs. But of course, murphy's theory stands.
  12. Generally all sqv's are high pitched. So if u want a solid wooosh, sqv is not the way to go.
  13. Then strap a C4 onto him and let him fly i do say!
  14. So fast? Coolness!
  15. Some 2 cents from a slightly insane person. Even if u're driving a normal sedan (like a camry), u prolly won't be able to see a 19 mth old child running behind as they're still a little too short. It might be a little different in that cirumstance as she might have not gone under the wheel, did she? Yeah, i know how irritating 4wds are and i seriously think they should be kept off-road than on. So i'm in favour of intalling C4 explosives into each and and everyone of them and blowing them up!
  16. sounds like a fantastic deal! Is it the engine or the turbo that's gone?
  17. oh =X
  18. Just wondering, do i have to remove the front bar in order to take out the whole headlight setup ?
  19. WOAH, 26 confirmed buyers. OMG, that's a lot.
  20. Steve..... just a question.... what's NOR? 0.11cents inclusive of gst, no service/tips?
  21. Errr... Water in ur tank = hydrolocked engine = Bye bye engine. I'm not too sure... someone else more knowledgable knows the ans?
  22. Question, In order to remove the headlights, do i have to take off the front bar? If i do, the front bar for the r33 gts-t series 1 is just 3 screws at the grille, and 2 on each side under the fender right?
  23. Apexi dealer in aussie or overseas?
  24. odd, i tried the top one on my r33 gtst, and it wouldn't budge left or right!. Then i tried the lower one and it went down. Funny shit, somehow i think my headlamps are screwed items.
