generally they should give you warrenty but if the engine still is in a halfcut (just buy the enigne, and return the rest) they are able to start it up with a battery and some fuel which would be the best way to do it

can pickup a wrecker engine fitted for less than $4k and you can have the comp tested etc to make sure its a healthy engine ring vicroads to tell them change of engine and you will have it sorted straight away plus rebuilding takes time, unless your going forged not worth it
