thats so wierd i was down near the vermont south area about 4 months ago drivin up burwood highway towards chapel street and got stoped at the lights by a red light....a guy scared the shit outta me by jumping in front of my car as i was talking to my mate who was in the passenger seat....he then approached my window and asked for a lift to pahran (up in the direction of burwood highway towards where i was going) he was way to sus and real junkie looking so there was no way i was letting him in my car, he also asked for change....i quickly replied with a response that i was turning down the next intersection and not going that way....he looked at me in anger but then looked at my mate in the pasenger seat so obviously thought about it for a sec....then the light went green so i booted away from him....luckily my mate was in the car cause i probably would have done the same as u and let him in my car...lucky i didnt, however i wonder if it was the same guy :S scary

so if i get picked up....and they dick me for the hole do i need to get a engineer cert....or can i cover the whole and it will pass? wats the story on that...could someone clarrify with a bit more detail? thx

not sure i understand what the pre 96 car had to do with it so is it legal? lol is it actually writen any where in writing ? wats the go with engineer certs, do they fix it or just give u a peice of paper saying ur allowed to have it?

i was reading around and im pritty sure i read somewhere that, cutting a whole under the water bottle on the drivers side in the engine bay on a r33gts-t is illegal and defectable? is this true? if so wat do u need to get around it? engineer certificate? or just the removal of the piping / FMIC? wat does it cost to fix up usually?

funny story (if its true) was washing my car (r33 gts-t) at the front of my house the other day and noticed this series 2 gts-t white, cruising up and down my street, and around my block, the driver had that excited look on his face, the look you have when u first get your r33 (im sure u all no wat im talking about) i glanced several times and watched him drive up and down and around. i swear it was this car!!!!! was it you? if so this is so wierd!!!!

ye dude FMIC from just jap for r33 gts-t which vacume line did u connect it too? i have no idea? i was just gonna make a nipple peice on the intake pipe....

my current setup with a stock intercooler connects a vacum hose from the intercooler intake pipe directly to the boost controller and then from the boost controller to the wastegate...which is fine... however i just purchased a FMIC and noticed that the intake pipe "doesnt" have the nipple on it to run to the boost controller? am i spose to make one there like the stock pipe? or does it link up another way? im sure this has been convered but i have tried looking but i cant find an exact answer anywhere any help me out here? cheers

if your saying u dont like the "ppppssssstttt" sound and u have a stock BOV and a after market air filter, switch to the stock air box....reduces the sound quite dramaticly

i know how to install a FMIC kit on my r33 but there is just a question about part of the installation that i want help with im asking about the pipe that runs across the top of the radiator fan...in most installation instructions it says to trim the top of the blades to allow clearance for the fan to rotate, however if u trim the end of the blade fans wont that cause some sort of inbalance as the fan spins? is this safe to to, or would it be better to carefully "bash" the section of the pipe in at the bottom, to allow clearance so you dont have to trim the fans? or will that disrupt the air flow of the cooler? which is the better option? advice would be great guys cheers in advanced

thx guys so its pritty much up to the officer and if he wants to be a prick or not wats considered a minor defect offence? like couple mods? IE cooler and boost controller? or are all mods no matter how many considered a mojor defect?

are the r33 gtst s2 side skirts like the series 1 side skirts or are they kinda bolted on like a kit...if so do they fit on top of series1 skirts?
