r33 gts-t, basic mods include front mount, hks intake gutted cat, 3.5 cat back, NEW turbosmart boost tee, factory turbo. Got use of a dyno to try to sort ourt whats goin on with my car and after asking heaps of people questions bout it ill be f**ked if i know whats goin on! Cant seem to boost past 9.5 psi(180rwkw)(mixtures were fine) on dyno wothout it feeling like its mis-fireing or cutting out. been told it definetly wont be fuel cut at that boost. have replaced plugs thiknikg that might be a prob, gapped to 0.7mm. have replaced all boost lines. anything below bout 9psi and car seems to run and pull fine wondering if anyone might know whats goin on, been told bout a factory boost cut, if this might be so whats the cheapest way to get round it. any help would be much appriciated asap due to sitting 15m from a dyno as we speak lol!! cheers brett

keep an ear open for bottom end knocks too, lot of the 32s develop bottom end problems and when then spin a bearing etc minimum rebuild is around the 8g mark. all the best finding one.

just spoke to mate then and apparently we can get the road closed if we get enough people to it, i would be suprised but will find out for sure. he has booked a joint to eat and drink up there, big pizza shop with bar etc..... looks like it will be the second weekend in january.... noone else interested?

hey all i got a mate who is a member of ausrotary.com and is going to organise a weekend in mansfield and do a few runs up and down Mt Buller over a weekend. Its about 2-2.5 hours from melb. Would there be many guys from SAU that would be interested in spending a weekend in the hills? The drive up is mad fun and once up the top there are massive empty carparks to have some fun in without cop hastles.... would be some traffic but it is minimal, mabie 2-3 cars cummin down wen headin up on average. Just thought i would post up on here and see if its worth organising a few skylines!? cheers guys brett

Would be good to see a few more skylines or even just more imports at shepparton next weekend to stir up the crowd of v8 boys there! anyone else interested ? entry is $220 for motorkana fri night then events for the rest if the weekend including a supercruise on sunday!

na would just be a weekend of drivin up n down, traffic is really minimal, over summer you might see 2 or 3 cars on the way up. its a ripper of a drive, they do have a sprint weekend but you need a cams lisense n by the time you pay entry and insurance its close to 4g for 3 days on racin up the hill! ill post in the vic section too... cheers

try puttin ure stock bov, or a plumb back one on. will help your fuel ecconomy shitloads. atmos throw your air fuel ratio out.

hey! just wonderin if anyone can tell me wats goin on wit my car! i installed one of them turbotech boost tees, bumped the boost up to 10psi, ran well for a short while then started missing n spluttering inbetween 4000-7000rpm. i scored some free dyno time (only rwkw readings), after adjusting boost found the only way i could get a decent kw figure without it missing and carrying on was to set boost on maximum 7.8psi. does this mean i need to get my car on a dyno that can plug into my ecu and change air fuel ratios, timing ect? just wondering what the next step is with it and why my car is doing this when i have heard people saying that they can run 10psi constantly on fairly stock 33's n not have any dramas at all! mods on my car are full exhst, hks pod, boost controller n heavy duty clutch thankls for the help guys! hey guys can anyone help me out? bought one of these, installed it on my 33, if i run anymore than 8psi boost it splutter, misses and carrys on between 4000rmp n 6000 rpm. i got some free dyno time (only kw reading, couldnt ajust ecu) the other day and had a play n the best rwkw figure i could get was only running 7.8psi boost! do i need to get on a dyno that can adjust my computer (timing, air fuel? also why do u thionk my car can only run low boost wen i hear of other people on here being able to run 10-11-12psi on the same car and not have any worries! thanks 4 the help! cheers brett

hey just wanted to grap anyones opinion on these wheels, gunna go 18x8.5 fronts and 18x9.5 rears with 235s and 255s. my car is stock height r33 s1 but am planning on dropping it down 40mm. the pic is of em on a dirty bmw but hope u can get an idea of wat they will look like on my car! not sure really wat style i wanna go for so some feedback would be grouse! cheers guys!~ brett
