  1. Hahaha.. yep bodykit now. the things you gotta do! Oh BTW Stan I got the box this morning. Thanks very much! I'll post some pics when it's installed.
  2. No worries mate, I just hope it helps.. Make sure you check the spark plug gaps with a gapping tool, as shortening this to 0.7mm made the world of difference for mine. -J
  3. yeah thanks for the input guys.. I think I will just get em. Xizor: http://www.tempetyres.com.au/products_clos...rt=&part_no=283

  6. Well i dont know if I can be of much help... But I can tell you my story But i had the same problem, and also had some mis-firing over 5000rpm in 2nd gear. I noticed it most after getting my car washed a couple of times - god knows why, I still dont know to this day. SO - I re-gapped my plugs to 0.7mm, and cleaned up my coil packs (cleaned the outside of them as they had some crap on there) and this seemed to rectify the misfiring issue, but in the mornings I still get the spluttering when boost comes on. I find that if i turn the car on, and drive away within 2-3 mins, it will splutter from about 0.5bar (7psi) onwards. But if i keep it under 0.5 bar for the first couple of changes, then all is sweet after that - i can run through to 1bar (14psi) with no spluttering/misfiring. It's almost like I have to warm the whole system up before being able to reach higher boost or something??? This does obviously make sense, but im lost as to the reason for spluttering I have just accepted the fact that my car doesn't like being thrashed before it's warmed up properly, and thats that! It's definitely better for the engine to keep it under 3000rpm for the first few gear changes anyway, so I havent bothered going any further than this! I hope this has given you some insight into what your issue may be. Let me know if you find any resolution for this

  8. I'm after an air snorkel for an R33 GTS-T. It's the black plastic thing that scoops air from under the bonnet into the standard air box. Please PM me if you have one spare. -Jon

  16. my dad worked in special ops for Westfield and implemented the system where cameras are trained on peoples faces as they leave the carpark - at Parramatta Westfield.. I am not sure if they did this at Miranda what the theives used to do is drag a trolley over the sensor and get a ticket out (as if they were a car entering the carpark), then steal a car, and use the ticket to get out of the carpark. They installed cameras that take the rego, and also a camera down low to take the persons face as they lean out to put the ticket in the machine! Often the cops know the persons face if they are a local dropkick, so they just rock down to the dudes house and it's game over for them! i suggest you talk to Westfield centre management ASAP about getting the camera footage to the cops... have you tried this yet?
  17. I would like to try to make you feel better and say that I actually wondered what it did...... but i didnt
  18. Yer i'll vouch for JVC - They produce awesome quality sound, with no crazy price tag cos they are relatively unknown in the head unit market. At the end of the day, if your headunit puts out shit quality sound, the whole system is doomed from the start
  19. Hahaha... this thread is gold!
  20. I really like the look of the Impuls (eg. satanic/wilch/lots of other people).. But there are so many people with these wheels, it's kind of turned me off them. Does anyone else know of any wheels similar in style, but not as popular? It's a pretty broad question, but if anyone has seen some nice dish wheels lately, could you give me a name &/or pic? Preferably home grown stuff or rip-offs, because i'm not loking to spend HEAPS on some nice Jap rims
  21. TT International http://www.ttinternational.com.au Good prices too...

  24. I put a set of DBA slotted rotors on, and mine squeal like a bat out of hell.. I tried "Disc Brake Quiet" from Repco, and it worked for about 6 weeks, and then it started again. I have shims in there too.. Im not adding more of this paste every 6 weeks, so I'm stuck too
