My experience at SEI went like this: I put down a deposit on this car there, S2 R33 GTST, I did RACV inspection and it came back as amber (caution). There were oil leaks and some other problems with the car, some small, other seemed bigger. I asked John (SEI owner) to fix up the oil leak as well as any other problems the car has. He agreed and a week later I did the second RACV inspection that cost me another 150 or so bucks. The report came back pretty much unchanged, the car was still leaking oil like mad and I was frustrated. John kept haggling me to buy it and claiming the car is spot on and nothing wrong with it.
In the end I didnt get the car, I lost $250 on deposit (only got half of my 500 bucks and had to virtually fight for it on the phone for a day) and bought my car from SSV!
SSV was awesome! Family business with great Aussie blokes who know cars and help you buy cars, not force any on you.
