  5. Occasionally! Depends really, but i would say maybe once 1 month and most of the times i dont drive my car unless if its for a dyno or a good reason!
  6. Does boost build up quicker in say 1st gear and with a slightly larger spike than compared with in 4th gear? My boost controller is set up at 12psi and on the dyno in 4th gear it shows somethin like 12.5psi at like 3krpm and the tapers off to like 12psi at around 7-8krpm. But then when i run it on the street and take off in 1st gear, i check the peak boost on my profec B spec 2, it reads usually between 13.5-13.8psi. Is this just an inaccuracy in the boost controller or does it actually spike higher in lower gears?
  7. haha thanks nick, mates rate you can have it. $100 voucher
  8. Thanks guys! Yea Richard this one is immaculate like the one you had I still would of liked yours, then I wouldnt have had to buy the parts myself to fit them!
  9. Hey guys SOLD SOLD SOLD! CONGRATS TO THE NEW OWNER Price Drop! I have a rare 1997 Series III R33 GTR VSpec for sale in Sonic Silver (colour only available for series 3). 2nd owner in Australia and the car is in immaculate and near standard condition. The odometer reads 63000ish kms and the condition suggest that it is consistent with the km’s. I am after $36000 ONO for it. Rego till March 08. no low ball offers or time wasters please. But reasonable offers will be considered Car is located in Newcastle. I bought the car in stock standard condition. All the mods on the car I have receipts for and all are brand new. The mods include (all only a few weeks old): Engine: -Trust Power Extreme II Cat back exhaust (3 inch) -3 inch Catco metal cat (5 inch body) -3 inch Trust front pipe -Greddy Profec B Spec 2 boost controller -Apexi panel filter -Apexi Power FC + HC Exterior: -Brand new Rays Engineering Gram Lights 57F Pro. 18 x 10 + 15 with Dunlop Direzza 245/40/18 tyres brand new with over 95% tread left. The rims have absolutley no scratches or any rash on them. Cost me over $4600 for these babies. -Rays engineering light weight lugs nuts worth $180. Other: -Mongoose alarm and immobiliser -Kenwood Head unit, plays MP3s. But cannot pick up Australian radio Tuned by Jim on the Dyno at Croydon several weeks ago, made 222.1awkw or 240ish rwkw @ 1bar boost. Air fuel mix was around the 11.7 mark so it is very safe tune as well. Very good result considering i only have an exhaust and a bit more boost Can also be run on stock boost too. Dyno sheet available Everything else on the car is stock standard. Its also got a few factory options from Nissan like the Momo steering wheel, N1 slots, larger from lip, rear fog light (only on series 3) and red stitching interior, Xenon headlights and dual air bags. Interior condition is like new with no rips or scuffs. The front lip has a few scrapes on it but an easy fix. The car runs very smooth and has no leaks of any kind, no oil burning, no starting/stalling issues, no fuel consumption issues and A/C works perfectly too. I get around 400km’s per tank in the city. It had a major service about 3500kms ago, with new NGK platinum spark plugs, fuel filter, oil filter and Motul engine oil and also gear box oil changed. Also the car has never been raced and it is not thrashed either, always babied and washed weekly! Will make an excellent base for modifying or keeping as is!
  10. Hey mate, have u got any pics? Also what colour are the centre piece? Interested in a swap for brand new gram lights 57F pro 18x10 +15 with 90mm of deep dish and brand new tyres?
  11. Hey guys I finally recieved my parts from nengun after a long time and I now have an exhaust fitted. I got trust front pipes, metal cat, Trust PE2 cat back, apexi panel filter and also an Greddy EBC. I am lookin to get it PFC tuned soon but should I get some adjustable cam gears at the same time? Does it take much longer to tune with adjustable cam gears as in cost more money? I didnt actually want to spend too much more than what I have now but if the tuning cost with cam gears in comparison is not too much more than just tuning with pfc then i may get a set of cam gears as the gains on an rb26 are obvious. Last time i got a tune for just setting up my boost controller and PFC cost me about $650 at CRD. Would it cost much more to adjust camgears? Any one with experience? Thanks
  12. It looks good except the front does look a bit like a hsv commonwhore. Not so sure about the mascarra bit maybe they should fix it up
  13. Yeah PFC and EBC would be the way to go and with stock turbos that are really old you can run 14psi but eventually will blow and wreck ur engine and then u will end up spendin like 10k on a rebuild. So maybe you should consider getting a couple of hks gtss or maybe 2860-7's? but with stock turbos and healthy motor u would probably run about 250rwkw. Cam gears will give you more low and mid range gains
  14. Are r33 gtst catback exhausts the same as r33 gtr? I ordered a trust PE2 catback for my gtr but the stickers on the exhaust and the box say ecr33.
