Hey guys, I am thinking of gettin some hks cam gears for my rb26. My question is do you have to get both inlet and exhaust gears or can you get away with just the exhaust? What sort of difference would there be having 1 or 2? Cheers

Are they for rb25 or 26?

nothing is more annoying and ricey than spending so much on a sus number plates like 2SXC or 2QUICK etc on a done up car that isnt fast and isnt sexy...

Actually I did at one stage put new tyres at the front and and old tyres at the back and i had no problem. But with old at front new at back i had the problem. You can try swapping them around first

Mine had this too a while back when my front tyres were more worn than the rears, but I just got 4 new tyres that were even and no more torque split unless I gun it.

Nah its not floppy or anything, but you can only put it in the 4th gear gear position.

My missus has a 89 celica and last night her gear box sudden stuffed up. You cant put it into any normal gear slots except the netural position. Although once I gave it a push it was able to drive in what she believes is 3rd gear. Does this mean shes gone a blown box and its game over? I know its not a skyline but all gearboxes r the same! Cheers!

I pulled mine apart on sunday to have a look. Mine had a ground wire which was screwed onto the top of the transistor (ignitor pack thingy). the ground wire is connected to somewhere I cant really see as it was wrapped in a cable sheild with some other wires (but I believe its connected to the negative side of the battery. I just cleaned off the rust of the screw and the wire connector and since then i have had no missfires. Before this the missing happened at least once a day sometimes 2 or 3 times. But will have to see if it does it over a few more days.

Hey guys, I am currently running 253rwkw at the moment and looking soon to boost it up to around 300rwkw. Just wondering are my stock injectors (off a r34 gtr) capable of handling that sort of power? I already have a bigger fuel pump so im just worried about my injectors. Currently at max power the injector duty cycle is doing around 81%. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for that, yeah today is really hot 34 degs and i noticed that my car feels like it is pulling slightly less hard compared to a normal cooler morning. Damn hot days! my inlet temp was like 54 degrees.

Just a couple of curious questions, When driving on a hot day like 34 degrees and on a cold day like 14 degrees how much power would a car on average lose? Also with the aircon on, on a hot 34 degree day is it normal to see the engine water temp rise when not moving up to like 85 degrees? Thanks

Hey guys, just a quick question regarding the heat tolerance of the power fc hand controller. Today its like 28 degrees and I forgot to put my hand controller in the glove box. It was probably sitting in the heat inside the car which is probably like 50+ degrees for like 1 and a half hrs or so. When i came back and started the car, the screen was like really dark and I can barely see anything on the screen. But as it cooled off a bit it is slowly turning more green colour again, but still darker than usual. Does this mean I have damaged the screen?? Can they handle heaps hot temps?? thanks guys

Well i got my turbos checked out and they are apparently r34n1's. And my mechanic reckons there are to different size r34n1's? Like the housing size. is this true?? He said I have the bigger ones. But also he said I have stock dump pipes still which may cause the extra lag? Would a set of good split dumps help?? Thanks guys

Ah ok thanks guys i was a bit confused. But yeah an earth wire is fitted now.

woo hoo finally its fixed after pulling off the plenum and checking the throttle plate and cleaning the aac valve its finally like a normal skyline!
