  1. Ok cheers, I'll do some more hunting this week and see how I go.
  2. Completed everything on Friday, quads and lats still tender so that's something new. Swapped out RDL for straight DL, completed OK but can tell the form is wrong, working on it. Straight DL deffo engages me more than RDL.
  3. This gave me a crucial pointer. I was breaking at the knees first rather than bending from the waist to lower down the thighs then breaking the knee. This might help my clearance issue, I'll try it tomorrow.
  4. What sort of dollars delivered? Pm me if need be. Turns out that one of mates mates is a good tig welder with s14 cages to his name so I'll have a chat with him. Either way I'm thinking welded half cage and harness bar and will lower my seat. I'm in albury Wodonga which is on the vic nsw Border 3690 or 2640
  5. Kez: the seat holds me in very well and the belt actually sits on me, but I'm probably thicker than you lol Risking: PM me some prices if you ship cages.
  6. One of my fav mods Kez. Mine is fully fixed so the communication with the Chassis is excellent. Set belt goes over fine but obviously not as safe as running a harness.
  7. Brad you do a s13 bolt in dont you? What are they worth? With a harness bar.
  8. Don't take all the weight off it and it won't roll around. Mine stays put.
  9. Can someone link me to what's considered a good dead lifting vid. I am trying to switch from RDL to straight DL and get in a pickle trying to lower the weight. I feel like I end up bending forward to far at the waist to clear where knees will be as I try and sit down into it. Back feels it too.
  10. Yeah understood, hence the harness bar question. If the budget is limited and you just want to add some extra safety, what's the best option. Harness bar and harness but no cheap cage? Cheap cage + harness bar and harness? Or is it simply a case of nothing adds safety until it's big dollars.
  11. OR would a basic harness bar and a harness be a better idea than a cheap cage. Given that a half cage will not have side intrusion bars anyway and I'd be fairly unlucky to roll at Winton.
  12. They have a cams cage also. http://holfordmotors.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=199 My point is, I'm assuming "something" plus a harness is going to be a step in the right direction, at the moment there is nothing and I see a lot of cars at those timed lap days like that.
  13. My car doesn't have a cage at all and though it's only mildly powered it can still achieve enough speed at Winton to cause serious injury if I ever had a big accident. I have an OK seat but was wondering if it's worth me looking at a basic half cage so I can add a harness, or maybe just a harness bar? Not looking to fully cage the car or anything but looking to maybe improve the safety aspect. I also find that my helmet can rub the roof lining sometimes if I bump around too much and wonder if it's worth me re-mounting the seat to get lower? Was just looking at something basic like this - http://www.ebay.com....75c947e6&_uhb=1 And adding a harness. I was also thinking about whether a Karting style neck brace would give some added protection also, in lieu of having a HANs capable helmet. Or maybe a motorcross style one? Thoughts?
  14. Upper lats still tender from pull ups, so clearly they need some work. Foam rolled last night, had a stretch and heat bagged, back felt better but still tender today. Had a go at rolling the lats, can't say it helped heaps but it hurt during lol
  15. Right in the feels...
  16. Yeah things have changed a bit for sure. Not just SAU, but the car scene in general. Going to track days/dyno days these days shows a very different crowd. Maybe I'm just old. I've never understood why people got so worked up about your posts. I'm not a Volvo fan but if someone posts a pic of one I'm not going to lose my shit and demand he be banned for it.
  17. Ahh, I remember all the BS, just got the names confused.
  18. You never forget the smell...
  19. Hold up hold the f**k up! The penny has literally only just dropped that Boz is Boz 0_0 As in didn't you get banned Boz? BBW loving Boz? Or am I thinking of Barbs who got banned.
  20. Too busy dipping like a baws
  21. Oh. If she's doing the washing I'm happy to try and make things stink less so I don't have to do it myself. She's a trooper though.
  22. Talking to me or TTT ?
  23. LOL I love you man, I really do, you crack me up. No homo? Nah, ALL the homo. Anyway, point taken. I think having had small arms for so long it has become a bit of a subconscious obsession. Didn't talk reps for the other stuff as nothing changed, only major changes were the little bit of extra weight as mentioned and the amount of reps on those bro exercises. I've heard about the must gain x to get an extra inch stuff , makes sense to me. I don't squat for broceps, I do it because I want my legs and back to be stronger and to help my ankle - and no not to make you love me - but I do enjoy talking shit and you tend to be solid at that. We'll see how things are in 6mths or so. Pilates.. lol my missus hates it. She's a prime candidate for squatting for sure, I'm working on it.
  24. Yes and yes. I sweat like a mofo and sometimes the shirts hold the odour through the wash, but they are just old apparel type shirts champion/fila etc, normal cotton shirts.
