  1. Hey mate, I do have one more but I gave it to the missus. I've asked her and she decided to keep it sorry. I do have a 3ghz Pentium D workstation if you're interested but otherwise I'm all out of machines. Cheers
  2. The two Dells are still available guys and are currently sitting at only $31 on eBay, the auction has 3 days to go and there's no reserve, they will be sold! http://shop.ebay.com.au/action*dan/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686
  3. Yay They're a bit dirty from being rolled down the driveway but they look pretty decent. I love new rubber. Now to get them on the rims and get to the track! Interestingly, when measured against old Potenza R comps, these are a bit wider, but it might be due to the little kicker lip on the Fed's that protects the rim face.
  4. Toshiba is sold pending payment, 2 Dells still available and plenty of people watching them on ebay too.
  5. Hey guys, Got a couple of cheap laptops that would be ideal for students, tuning, home office etc. I've got 2x Dell Inspiron 5100s and 1x Toshiba Satellite A10 Dell Specs: Inspiron 5100 2.6GHz P4 512MB RAM 30GB CD-RW/DVD-ROM Drive 15" Screen Win XP Pro License Dell Delux Leather Carry Bag Toshiba Specs: Satellite A10 Celeron 2.4GHz 512MB RAM 40GB CD-RW/DVD-ROM Drive 15" Screen Win XP Pro License Dell Delux Leather Carry Case Prices include the Notebook, Delivery, The Carry Case, and a fresh install of Win XP Pro (license is attached to the machine). They also have the latest drivers and BIOS installed. Pickup is also fine and we can adjust the price accordingly. You're more than welcome to arrange your own freight too. Dells: $150 Toshiba: $130 If you're after more than one we can work out a discount. These are also listed on eBay starting at $1 with NO RESERVE so snap up a bargain quick smart. Any questions just ask Cheers
  6. I'm running them on a Volk 8" front and 9" rear which should be ideal. GT-R rims are 17x9 right? so should be fine. You could probably fit a 245 if you wanted to I think. I've not driven on the KU36 but the consensus on here is that they are a good tyre for the money but we all know these are not R Comps so the grip will never be that good, but for the price and considering I'm just doing this sort of thing for fun, it makes them a decent choice. From what I read around the web, the RS-R should be a touch faster but not last quite as long. I'm not as concerned about the longevity as I wont be driving them on the street. Talk all this with a grain of salt, I don't have the tyres yet and my experience is limited to the tyres that came on the car (215 wan li's on 7" rims) and some very old RE55s (which were bloody awesome when coming from Wan Lis lol).
  7. No I'm not associated with these guys at all and don't get any kick back or this, but I got a good price and the service was great so I'm sharing the love. http://www.wheeltechwheels.com.au/ I got a set of 235 45 R17s for 640 and he's driving them up from Winton to Wodonga for me as well, how's that for service lol Call and speak to Laurence, tell him Dan sent you. They go to Winton and Wakefield regularly so you can collect from them too.
  8. http://www.wheeltechwheels.com.au/ These guys are running these on special for a month or so Speak to Laurence and tell them Dan referred you. These guys are at Winton monthly so you can collect from there, he also goes to Wakefield a bit. For the price he's actually driving them up to Wodonga for me, how's that for service lol.
  9. Hmm, bit of a difference then but as I wont be doing the 10,000 road k's I'd expect another few track days and 8 or so track days would be like 2+ years for me lol I think they should be alright value for the money then Cheers guys
  10. Yeah I see the KUs have a tread wear of 180 and it's 140 for the RS-Rs wasn't sure just how big a difference that would make. My car isn't bad on tyres but that's been on very old (so quite hard) R comps. What sort of life did you get out of them? EDIT: I have another set of cheap 17" rims and tyres for the rare occasion the car gets driven on the road so it will be purely track ks for these tyres.
  11. To clarify a few PMs. There are 3 laptops in total, 2 of the Dells and 1 Toshiba. Price includes delivery and a fresh install of XP Pro using the legitimate license attached to the machine. Pickup is fine, offers are fine. Cheers
  12. Morning Gents, I've been hunting around for some tyres and tossing up between some new high performance road tyres like the Kumho KU36s or Federal 595 RS-Rs or second hand semis (having no luck with semis it seems) I'm wondering if anyone has used the RS-Rs as I think I've come across a decent deal, 4x 235 R17s for $640 delivered. Normally the RS-Rs are a bit more expensive than the KU36s but this guys doing a bit of a deal to move them before tax time I'd say. So has anyone used the RS-Rs? I know plenty of you attest to the KU36 being an OK tyre for light track duties (I'm running an S13 with only 160+ rwkw) I need to make a call this morning so the guys can pack them into the truck for their trip to Winton. Opinions?
  13. They're a bit old for that mate, so no HDMI ports sorry. there are various USB to HDMI convertors on eBay for cheap enough. As always, offers welcome.
  14. Got a few PMs about delivery, the above price includes delivery or we can drop it a bit if you want to pick up. I'm in Albury Wodonga
  15. Auction ends in a few hours and has bids so it will be sold, get in and grab a bargain guys. Sitting on only $15 at the moment!
  16. I just had a look and no for all. Each has an easily accessed slot for one but I'd jut go with a cheap USB adapter. If that's a deal breaker then just make an offer minus the cost of a USB adapter, easy
  17. Hey guys, Got a couple of cheap laptops that would be ideal for students, tuning, media connectivity etc. I've got 2 maybe 3 Dell Inspirons (depends on if the missus wants one) and one Toshiba Satellite Dell Specs: Inspiron 5100 2.6GHz P4 512MB RAM 30-40GB (Not 100% on which it is) CD-RW/DVD-ROM Drive 15" Screen Win XP Pro License Dell Delux Leather Carry Bag Toshiba Specs: Satellite A10 Celeron 2.4GHz 512MB RAM 30-40GB (Not 100% on which it is) CD-RW/DVD-ROM Drive 15" Screen Win XP Pro License Targus Urban Carry Bag Prices include the Notebook, Delivery, The Carry Case, and a fresh install of Win XP Pro (license is attached to the machine). Dells: $150 Toshiba: $130 If you're after more than one we can work out a discount. I'm also after a PS3 and would be willing to work something out plus I have a chipped Xbox and a chipped Wii with accessories and a TurboXS Boost controller for sale/trade also - see my other topics - I've also got a CA18DET S13 that I'm always looking for parts for. So, throw me some offers Any questions just PM me or drop me an email at [email protected] Cheers
  18. Yeah had already considered that I'd want the air to merge as seamlessly as possible, but cheers for the tip anyway
  19. Replaced so no longer needed, going very cheap. $25 delivered anywhere in Aus or have a go at the ebay auction and try and get it cheaper! http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270762504379#ht_500wt_1156 PM or email is fine - [email protected]
  20. Cheers Rich I should have it under control now, though I think I might end up mounting it pre cooler simply as there is already a spot for and it will keep my plumbing tidy.
  21. One does not simply make a metal intake pipe... but I do have a mate who works at an Engineering place who should be able to dodge me up something. See how we go.
  22. Well I like to make sure I have a grasp on something before I go cutting holes in things "Plumb it in between turbo inlet and AFM" Soon as I read that I face palmed because it seems so obvious now. Will be interesting to see how I go about that as my intake between the turbo and afm is still the factory plastic one. Will have to see what my options are.
