  1. Thanks SK, i do have pineapples and i also have a HICAS lock kit installed, did it myself and its holding up lol. can i adjust my standard castor arms, or should i get adjustables? i dont know what my front toe is set to, nor the rear but im pretty sure they said something like put my toe in on the rear and my camber is pumped out on the rear they didnt adjust that.....im going back there 2moro to stables suspension, apparantly they did Danny Vahoumis' car and there sposed to set mine up identical to that? let me know what i should be looking for man, thanks
  2. its a good height, front tyres may be causing extra slide, 205/55/R16, compared to the rears 225/45/R16, that could cause some understeering problems. dont have any adjustable castor arms, need them sway bars and stuff. but i still couldnt beleive the amount of understeer considering the set up i already have. so any more ideas would still be greatly appreciaited
  3. Thinking about putting an Rb26DETT in my R32 GTS-T, is there anything i should look out for, any problems people have had. Give me some pro's and con's so i can give it definate thought, i feel it'l be a crazy mod, especially for drift. Let me know what you think and any suggestions i should do Thanks Nathan
  4. just e-brake it...not that good yet, clutch kicking for me is the better option. il have to take the advice of sway bars and strut brace.......gota get rid of this understeer its driving me nuts. anything else i should perhaps see about
  5. Extreme clutch option is probably a good idea for a good clutch on a budget - i run one in my R32 single plate heavy duty, the clutch pedal is kinda heavy but in everyday traffic my leg got used to it after a week or so. Not bad performance either. Exedy or OS giken are great, but more expensive. So for $700 you probly cant go past an extreme clutch
  6. Hey guys, just wondering.....ive recently upgraded my suspension to Tein HR coilovers and got some front and rear adjustable camber arms, im not sure what il need to add next im thinking more front work because the other night on the track i was understeering like s**t even though i got it set up sort of drift-street spec, toe in rear and 2degree camber front. i want to eliminate the understeer and gain full over steer so the rear drifts out when i steer. Any suggestions what i need??? Any help is most appreciated Thanks
  7. LOL! yeh it did to mine, but i upgraded my camber arms front and rear at the same time, and that was a huge difference...fully adjustable. But thats not a bad price man, $400 and lowered 2 inches you should be sweet and the ride will look meaner....find out how stiff the springs are if they arent too hard, suggestion is to roll your guards
  8. That ceramic white bit off spark plugs wont melt, they withstand hell high temperatures, definately try to find it and get it out, pray it hasnt moved elsewhere.
  9. My R32's running 1.1bar with a VG30 and didnt missfire ever, still doesnt....and thats with the standard coilpacks, the only time it started was when my spark plugs basically disintegrated, got new platinums the the right heat range and bobs ur uncle she's a goer, still no missfires and can run more boost if need be. (dont want to though) but do as paulr33 suggested....
  10. It shouldnt do any damage to your suspension, maybe your wallet though, depending on how much the springs are. Your shocks should handle it, your guards may need to be rolled depending on how stiff the springs are. You should really get some coil-overs.......most companies would do you a fairly decent deal for second handies most times $750 give or take $100 or so for Teins
  11. Ahh, noone interested ey? spewing lol.....theyre no that bad
  12. no idea if they'd fit on an R31, the going price is $300
  13. Hey guys, ive got a second hand set of GTR front shocks and lowered springs to suit R32, also nismo front camber arms (non adjustable - they provide a good camber though 2 degrees i think) also rear shocks and springs height and damper adjustable brand unknown, however need to be rebuilt as well as stock rear camber arms non-adjustable.....from adelaide, whoever wants them $300 for everything.
  14. it shouldnt make a huge difference, look at the offset of the rims and the pcd. GTST's have a pcd of 114.3mm if your rims have the same or even if there 5 stud multi's you should b cool, just watch for guard scrape and inner rubbing....might need to roll em and pump em
  15. if you've got the cash you might as well give it a go, anything can be broken but pfitzer have a pretty good rep and are getting themselves out there. keep me posted coz im interested if you go through with it...let me know how it goes
  16. hey man, i upgraded my R32 GTST with DBA 4000series slotted rotors front and had my rears machined (like new) and put a set of Endless super street M's on the front and endless 8500N's on the rear, great stopping, go from 60-0 in like 2 or 3 seconds with no lock up
  17. wassup dude, can u get some in size small or a medium, gota fit em in my R32, but on top of that im not overly built, 70kgs at best and 6foot, and i hate being thrown around or not feeling like i fit
  18. Im looking at a few different turbo's for my car - so far HKS 25-35 is near the top along with a few others. Im stroking my engine to 2.4ltr in the near future but i need to know some good power and torque specs........any suggestions?
  19. I was gonna ask the same question, im looking at an ECU for my R32 and someone told me about e-manage for Skylines. Tuning it requires a laptop and rough knowledge of fuel-air ratios so leave that up to a dyno tuner. But they come relatively programmed to start with so you can plug it in and drive away with a pre-programmed setting. Fuel-air ratio will be a bit better, engine timing a little greater so its not a bad thing. But for it to be fully sick get it dyno tuned. I rekn your looking at a 10kw boost from it after a dyno tune.
  20. Ive been to a few and let em tamper round with my car, i dont mind being a test dummy if i get a % off. So far so good, nothings gone wrong.........YET!!! But tilbrook auto and dyno are quite good, can be expensive at $70 an hour. Turbo tune are pretty good down sth road, but if its jsut a tune, its not hard to undo ur oil plug, drip dry it and replace an oil filter at the same time. Timing belts can cause an issue. but try one of those two.
  21. Dude, you might wanna check to see if your airflow sensor isnt f**king up, you dont necessarily ave to be blowing out thick smoke as an indication. Go to your local dyno tuner perhaps get em to clean out the system and dyno tune it.
