  1. dude, remove it to the resourvoir pump, its so much easier.....if u want to know how to do it gimme a pm
  2. get an EBC, best solution
  3. i had an RB20 and reached its limits fairly quickly........ive got an RB25 now and have got no regrets, its now making 360rwkw + and is an RB27, so u got heaps more options and its easier to get stuff for
  4. ur seal where the internal fuel pump could b leaking and venting fuel into the cabin, or one of ur lines are cracked and its got a tiny leak. open ur boot, pull over ur carpet in the back drivers side and open it up and see. mines got a fuel smell coz ive got external fuel gear so i just let it go, makes me happy
  5. trust airinx isnt too bad, ive got a blitz sus stainless on mine now and its incredible. heaps good flow and looks awesome too.....id suggest getting one of those, but nothings wrong with apexi pods - im surprised mine hasnt got an apexi pod seeing how its got an apexi RX6 turb....the guy whacked a blitz on it, smart guy i rekn
  6. sounds like uv done most of the necessary checks.......i agree with quikblade, cheque ur afm, but u still could have a problem with ur spark plugs, id look at gapping them better or replacing them. However it shouldnt b drinking that much liquid, u could have head problems if its not leaking.
  7. 1: yes cams licence is needed, in adelaide its an S2 cams licence not sure on other state could be same name........i assume it would. 2: generally its cheaper to drift as part of a cams affiliated club and you'l get notified on more events as well 3: Not sure on other states, but fees in adelaide are as follows - $85 cams licence - $140 to enter your car per event - $$$ tyres - $$$ fuel - $ club fees if any - $110 or something for practice at mallala and $20 for day pass cams licence (strictly once off, second time practice ur required to have ur cams licence) 4: Theres quite a few drift events now varying between states and National. 2 National events now, and each state has its own drift event seperately.....so if your good enough ur car and urself will get a good workout if u try for all 3 5: mods for a car with minimal budget could be many things - catback exhaust system - air pod - front mount intercooler - fuel cut defender - turbo if the moneys there - BOV (keep that standard turbo running) - oil cooler (very important) - good coilovers - adjustable camber arms front and rear - adjustable castor rods front - 2 way mechanical diff (very important cant stress that enough) - Hicas lock bar if your car has hicas steering Heaps mate, pm me if u want more details
  8. Not entirely sure if it can be done.....i think in order to do it u need a custom adaptor plate made as the stud pattern the RB26 bolts onto is different to RB20.......coz u need to do that to RB25's. Thats sumthing u should ask a business that deals with plenums etc. if ur from adelaide ask ASE theyl probly make u a custom one for cheaper?
  9. generally wen they replace pads they machine the discs, if they didnt there dodgy coz its standard work practice. U never fit new pads to worn discs. Get another company to do ur brakes $940 is heaps...and make sure they bedd them in properly
  10. all i can say is u get what u pay for. king springs are absolute crap, and on a R34 u dont go cheap dude.....get a set of adjustable coilovers
  11. price we pay for sweet rides.....or the ride we actually want. y settle for second best
  12. u should definately win, but keep us all posted with the result.....
  13. used one on my 32 and it seemed to work, usully u get what u pay for.......i dont know wat difference its really sposed to make eg running oil cooler and circulating it better. But i have no complaint about them
  14. work and save, stay away from drug dealing for easy quick cash coz it'l put u in more trouble then its worth.
  15. DAM THAT MOVIE - wat can we do? even if all of us from n.s, sau and any other forum got together for a big rally we wouldnt get anywhere. Laws are unfortunately there for a reason no matter how insanely stupid they are. Especially here in Adelaide (defect capital). Just gota keep on keepin on and make sure we stick together and help each other out rather then flaming
  16. simple solution is to buy a car with them already on like i did. other then that, by listening to GTR Geoff ul learn alot. my 32 had upgraded front rotors and standard calipers with decent brake pads. but my 33 kinda needs the brembo's....got alot to stop
  17. LOL just making a point, giggled like a school girl when they fired up
  18. Its not worth starting my own thread.......i just thought id add to this one. Why have a cry about it (insert tear) want a tissue
  19. who cares if its an RB20 thread theres people putting there silvias and so forth in saying yeh ive got sum power in my SR or CA......so i decided to share, quite simply put, why descriminate engines and say its just an RB thread.
  20. personally i like seeing a phat cooler on the front, with the right front bar it improves looks dramatically.......something widemouthed like GTR bar or my personal fav on R32's the dart izumi jr front bar, drool
  21. they all have rev limiters.......its a stock componant in standard ECU. Generally in R32 it can vary from 7500 - 8200 depending on who owned it last and how they got it tuned. Were u revving it hard, my turbo glowed all the time and the manifold after drift practice.....so thats nothing.
  22. Im an electrician apprentice.....3rd year on like $11 something an hour LOL driving what i would say a 50k plus R33 fully circuit built in japan, and am drifting it 2006 G1.......ADELAIDE
