  1. Get the S15. They are a top car for what they are. It won MOTOR Mags PCOTTY 2001 award. If space is an issue for you then don't bother going for the S15 as you won't be getting much. Try and get the GT spec which is what I had.
  2. Damn, that's really good. I guess my company has those policies to restrict us from buying exotics/old cars for cost reasons. I would have a ball if I had that option. An old porsche or ferrari would be great because the only reason why I wouldn't buy one of them is because of maintenance but because the fleet company pays for that kind of stuff, it wouldn't be an issue. You can get an nice old ferrari/porshe for around 50K. My company is with Fleet Systems btw.
  3. What about asian guys in aussie cars? Buying the fastest car ever built is just plain ridiculous. I think I've purchased the fastest practical stock car in the market for the price.
  4. Demon, You are lucky to be able to get your GTR on a novated lease. My company doesn't allow us to get any car that is over a year old and it must have at least 2 years warranty with less than 20,000kms on the clock. This is so they don't have to pay too much for vehicle maintenance.
  5. No offence taken at all mate. There are idiots in all breeds of cars. There are parasites everywhere. They'll grow up one day.
  6. Mate, I owned a S15 and I thought that I would be missing that instant turbo rush but have you stepped into a LS2 yet(new clubby)? It feels like you have been hit by a massive cricket bat, and it keeps going. In reference to fuel consumption. All performance cars drink heaps of petrol. When you drive hard in a 4 cycl evo or STI it drinks a lot of fuel. You'll be surprised that there aint that much difference between the fuel consumption of the evo and the hsv. MOTOR averaged 17 litres per 100kms for the evo as opposed to 18litres per 100kms for the hsv in there latest comparison. I've also heard that the RX8, even though it is a small 1.3 litre engine it drinks like 20litres/100kms when driven hard. It is a myth that the smaller the engine, the less fuel it drinks.
  7. I'm pretty sure that you guys are talking about the same Jason Rouse. Here is an anti turbo thread he started on the Ls1 forums: http://www.ls2.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=34173
  8. Guys, This guy sounds like he is a bit of a psycho. You guys are mocking him pretty badly and I would be pretty concerned for all those skyline owners who live in Perth. I'm pretty sure that if he walks past a skyline he would scratch it etc. HSV Tool? He drives a SS.. So SS tool. I don't want to be associated with him
  9. Price has been reduced to 36,900. Bargain for such a new car.
  10. Another note. Major service for my car is due at 40,000kms so you'll be up for $$$ when buying a car approaching 40,000km. I'm willing to do this for the buyer with my fleet card.
  11. DarkCoupe, When I first got the car I put a CAT back exhaust on for 2 or 3 months then got rid of it because it was too loud although I gained 0.5-1 second in speed 0-100kms/h. It's been pretty much stock standard. Other than that I replaced the paper filter with a hks panel filter. Pretty much the same thing. i've still got the stock paper filter which is pretty much brand new. I don't think you need to worry about the engine and the drive train. If you end up coming to look at it I'll show you how well it drives. My hks turbo timer has 0-100kms and 400m timers so we'll do a run so you know that it actually goes well. I don't know if this is a bad thing or not but I took the 200sx badge off the back of the car. It looks much better with it off especially when you have an exhaust. A few 200sx owners have done that. If you are the type who prefers badge then I guess putting on the Sylvia badge at the back will look nicer. Anyways you'll see when I post my pictures. I will be cleaning my car and taking pictures of it today and it will be on carsales.com.au so currently you are probably the only s15 buyer who knows about my car. I'm in a rush to sell as well coz I'm eager to get the xr6 turbo. I need it to tow my boat coz I luv fishing. I'm not a liar so you can be sure you're getting what I tell you. In regards to price I'm starting at 38K and then working down depending on feedback which is normal procedure I guess. I don't think you can find a newer car than mine on the market although you can find cars which have less kms than me but I guess I was forced to do lots of kms because I wanted reduce fringe benefits tax for work. My email is [email protected] if you want a quicker reply.
  12. It's pretty much stock standard so pictures won't show anything out of the ordinary. 16 months old so nothing wrong with it. Will service the car prematurely on company fleet card if buyer wishes to ease their mind. And yes there are 2 leather seats which is standard for the GT series.

  14. I'll have to check. Will update this thread when I find out. All I know at the moment is that it fits my s15 perfectly.
  15. I've just replaced all 4 tyres on my S15. 2(front tyres) tyres are in excellent condition and 1 tyre(rear tyre) is in OK(road worthy) condition. I changed all 4 instead of just 1 because my car is maintained by fleet so it doesn't cost me anything to replace all. Is anyone interested in purchasing 3 Dunlop 901 tyres? I bought the whole set for about 1K 6 months ago. Melbourne buyers. I can send photos of the tread on the tyres. Highest offer over 250 for all 3.
