  1. Nexus, I will take your word for it. Then I stand correctly. I apologize for doubting you Hungry but I still think you are a Rich #$#$#. hehehe
  2. So was he your best mate after that?
  3. Now I don't believe you but I guess you don't care. For someone who is so successful, your grammer is terrible. "I have about 300 staffs" "few of the ppls" "daily driver either". No offence but it's hard to believe! Did you inherit all this wealth and power from your parents Pics would be nice though.
  4. You rich #@$#@. Drive down to Melb when you get it Show us some pics of your collection.
  5. Have you guys seen the magna that did 280km/h yet? You can see the speedo move to 280 in the clip. The car was burnt to ashes recently. here's the link: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=30V9YKWO
  6. I remember reading an article in MOTOR that was published about a year ago where they took a modified XR6T onto a airport strip and they managed to get 300km/h from it. Can't remember how much power it had though. The the fastest XR6T down the track a few months ago managed 11.5-11.7. Now it's 10.4, done by a car with about 380rwkw. Saying all that I think the car in question here would be faster than the one MOTOR tested so I believe that FalconXR6T's car will get over 300km/h quite easily.
  7. This has already been posted in a previous thread. OZ vs Japs by AMIR.
  8. I got mixed up with the lake in north vic. I think it's called Lake Muwalla or something like that.
  9. I'd love to see you and Ferni take it out in Mallala. Count me in for spectating. But then again like Ferni said, just let us know your track times and we'll have a fair indication who will win. Isn't Winton close to Mallala?
  10. Here's an update. Finally up and running. http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthread.php...7687#post497687
  11. That would depend how much you value cars. To a non car enthusiastic, spending lots of money on a car seems very stupid as they believe that there are better things to buy. It doesn't matter if you spend all your money on your car, as long as you are happy and enjoy it. Saying that, you'll always be in a better financial position if you hold back now and buy a bomb. Then you can save up and buy something bigger being a house or a better car(gtr). My car now is costing me a sh!t load however I made this sacrifice because I wanted to enjoy a nice car when I'm young and then maybe settle for something more boring once I start a family etc. I did however start off driving 2 bombs before stepping up for something more decent. I see lots of people blow their money on alcohol/smokes etc, and to me that's a bit silly but it's also understandable because people have different interests and pay for what makes them happy.
  12. Well said Roy. I was going to mention the same thing but restrained myself from posting Amir, no doubt that the car in the clip is powerful. The guy did mention that he didn't apply more throttle coz he had to balance the wheel spin.
  13. Amir, I saw the clips a couple of days ago and I was quite impressed as to how fast it jumps from 60-100km/h. Made me a bit envious that I didn't go ahead with my order for one. However I think the amount of power that that guy has is getting a bit ridiculous. No point having it when you can't use it. Just look at how much wheel spin he is getting. From what I've read/heard they are a bitch to launch because if you don't get enough revs it bogs down and if you rev it a bit more than you should the the wheels spin like crazy. That's on a stock car so just imagine how hard it'll be for this guy to launch/shift gears.
  14. I actually like the new wrx look. Looks good in that clip GTST just posted. Sounded like a beehive though
  15. How much does it weigh and what is it's capacity?
  16. Well done mate. I'd rather be original like you then to blend in with the rest. I'd like to see you take on this guy: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=81824
  17. I've also found the magazines to be very inconsistent. That's why I try not to take them as scripture. Makes good reading to a lot of people I guess.
  18. Apparently with the latest tests on these Fords, the XR6T has been put in it's place by the F6 and GT. F6 has the updated tune ever since the clutch fix. Some F6 guys on the XR6turbo forum have achieved the 13's now.
  19. Are we comparing new price vs new price here?! If you start comparing a new ford/holden 50/60K car to a 10 year old import then it's pretty easy to see which is going to give you the bigger bang for your buck. Didn't the XR6T win the MOTOR bang for your buck prize in 2003 or 2004? They were just comparing the new cars available here though.
  20. I put my money on the GTR for sure. Most 1/4 mile times published for the F6 so far are around the 14s mark.
  21. Your R33 looks very nice. Looks like lots of time and money spent on it. I would have to agree that the R32 GTR would be very tempting. As long as you be very fussy and make sure that you get one that is in good condition then you should be right. Just make sure you got the money to do it up nicely as you have done to your current ride. If it was me, I would just jump to the R33 GTR Good luck. '
  22. I prefer the old style better. The fonts are a bit too small. Strains the eye a bit. Maybe I'm getting too old.
  23. Point taken, however the guys who are actually keen on dragging are more than likely to be the ones who have the edit. There mentality is that the edit is not easy for the dealers to detect as when something breaks all they do is return the car to the stock tune. Just go to XR6Turbo forum and they have heaps of discussion on this issue.
