  1. Ok I have removed the boost controller. Boost has gone from about .9bar to about .4-.5bar (quick spin around the block) Will take it fr a decent drive tonight and see how she reacts now, see if any issue goes away. Also f**kibg hatin the screamer pipe now that the wastegate opens so early
  2. WTB the bolt that hold down the RB20 valley cover, i would buy them new but apparently thats harder than i thought??? also the slightly smaller ignitor bolts thank you pm me
  3. trying to chase down an injector issue, so i WTB ONE GTR Injector in perfect condition im in sa pm me thanks its for an r32 if it makes a difference
  4. ok well i suppose i should start by checking the fuel pressure, where do i get the fitting for the fuel pressure tester (work will have the tester) i need to chase this backwards to find the fault i guess? where should i start for easy or telltale signs? ie, injectors easy to test or fuel pump easy to check out? a bit lost here sory guys but any help will be appreciated. i will not be fixing this i will most probably get a shop to FIX things properly but i wanna cut down on time and money on diagnostics, but help is appreciated.

  6. I don't know enough to check the install or reinstall of te fuel pump, if I take it to a shop will they be able to tell what's not right or is it going to be a headache?
  7. the car was not cold but had been sitting for about 15 mins. the car does have starting issues usually when running before hand so a leaky injector may be present. the fouled plug wasnt on a low compression cylinder also is it common to have 3 at exactly one compression and the following 3 to have identical lower compressions? and no the car isnt misfiring when i turn the wheel (it does hiccup a tad on idle which an injector may explain?) it missfires on boost when turning a corner, the harder the more evident (or just after turning, straighten up... hit boost... misfire ... get thrusted forward and back when it hits boost again, very unsatisfying) the cornering thing realy confuses me, i was thinking something may be loose like the bosh 440?

  18. ok so i apologies i mixed my threads up a bit so i will recap, i spoke about this here other thread but i will recap this was the major problem i found leadin into the intake, massive split. replaced it and it removed allof of the dramas, mush better idle and solved almost off of the boost problems. Interestingly also it made massive boost when fixed and the waste gate is working allot better so yeah allot explained. HOWEVER! i am still hunting idel from about 900 - 1100 and i do have a hickup on idel, allot lot less but i do have a random boost cut and i get thrown forward when it missifres. ok so... i replaced my spark plugs today with NGK copper BCP5RES plugs ( i couldnt find BCP6RES) so i hope the heat rating wont make a difference? all plugs i took out looked fine appart from the front most which was black not grey in order 1 and 2 compared dunno what this tells me? also we did a compression test which gave me interesting results from front to back 130 130 130 112 112 112 whats going on here? i have not checked my tune yet cos i canot afford a $600 nistune remap at the moment i have been told my gtr injectors are new and my bosh 440 is new and my coilpacks are new but you know who knows. can my lifters or injectors be causing this? im a little lost but hoping the tollorences on the cylinder compressions are not dangerous? also just to throw a spanner in the works this is a weird one, if i turn RIGHT hard...it misfires badly if i boot it...

  20. i suggest u can be a bit of a hard ass to cover yourself. IF i was buying it i would ask the buyer to solve the problem, if its plugs and simple things its weird that the buyer would not fix this himself to sell, thats just f**king lazy, i would suggest its something more, not major just something he cant be assed spending money on to sell. if its coilpacks then make him replace them. if it fixes it then u pay for the parts but if it dosnt fix it then u dont want to buy.

  24. Well I know stock gauges are a bit hit and miss with accuracy and their range of scope, Before I'm told yes I will get an aftermarket oil pressure gauge. I have 2 videos, the first while driving a warm car and a cold night The second is at home in my driveway after a 15 min drive so plenty warm The gauge is reading low and up and down allot. Is my oil pump getting old? Oil to heavy, or thin maby? Normal warm days it's usually fine between 4 and 8 but it has cought my eye being low randomly before. Never had a warning light. Plenty of oil in their, will do another filter and oil change but I guess my question is their something I should be concerned about above and beyond general oil maintenance or is the huge just being a stock gauge?
