the problem with that idea is that i work mon to fri so i have no time at all to be workn on my car. but i did notice the high price with sourcing parts, and doing that myself. but do need a bit of help with a few of the items above. like i said before, will i be needing half the stuff in the list? Injectors Fuel Pump Turbo N1 Oil Pump Clutch External Wastegate plenum throttle body Braided Lines and Fitting Exhaust Manifold im covered as far as those are concerned but the following i have know clue about Forged Pistons Connecting Rods Bearings Gasket Kit Head Gasket when i say no clue i mean that i am not sure if ill be needing these upgrades to support my project.

yeh ray n the gang are awsome, but like i said above this project is startn to turn ugly.....money wise lol

RE customs is, his good guy, gave me a good deal at the start, and my cars always gone there for the usual stuff. matt (GTTR34) had his car built and tuned by them and highly recommended them. so i thought why not. i hope i didnt give anyone any idea that they are bad in anyway, just a lil unsure of some things. but yeh, basicly this project is getting more and more expensive and its just a lil ridiculous if its gonna cost me almost 20k for a 300rwkw setup, even though its a 3.0L

hey guys me again, bit of a update and a few questions on my ever approaching completion rb30 hybrid. spoken to the tuner and we've somehow slipped into a complete rebuild of the car including everything being forged. with a gt35 setup including a 3.0L bottom end will i be needing all that? the most extra i was planning to put in was some nice cams. apart from the usual i was expecting a budget of about 12k max. but with all the parts its ending up being around almost 19k heres the list and if anyone could let me know, what parts i wont realli be needing. Forged Pistons Connecting Rods Bearings Gasket Kit Head Gasket Injectors Fuel Pump Turbo Braided Lines and Fitting N1 Oil Pump Clutch Exhaust Manifold External Wastegate plenum throttle body CAMS with that setup i could be running a 400rwkw setup? which is defiently not wat i want, nor can spend. any help would be great. oh and almost forgot, 300rwkw is the aim realli, but a good 350 would be great aswell

thing looks insane, but u gotta fill those z tune guards out more. love the bonnet btw are those Z tune guards genuine?
-

Question With My Ssq Bov With My R33gtr
R34NRG replied to andy95'R33GTR's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
mate u dont know wtf ur talking about, from the sounds of things ur BOV is just to tight, if u have to rev it out to 5k to get a sound u obviously have something wrong urself. ur preetty much on the ball there buddy, hks bovs dont need high amounts of boost to give off the whistle. i ran one with standard boost with heaps of noise. if its fluttering i to would put my money on the spring, its gotta be to tight, the reason why it flutters is because the bov is denying the air being vented, eventually when this builds up the bov is forced open. was that youtube vid actually yours? i dont think its a very good idea running rubber turbing to a bov, basicly because under high boost it will shut close, which may explain the fluttering. your bov should sound like this the higher the boost the more high pitched, at low revs it even may give a woosh sound but thats about it. nothing like the above where its fluttering. if it flutters, its not adjusted right. the fact is u should stfu. expain why hks bovs are garbage? they are one of the few that hold high amounts of boost, ive heard of ppl running 30+pound and no leakage wat so ever. hks bovs are pull types so its pretty much physically impossible for it to leak under high boost or vacuum on idle. andy maybe u have a fualty bov? i would test the springs again. try tightening it as much as you can, and lose as u can. basicly the tighter u have it, the more flutter you'll have. loose the more vent. -
just highflow it buddy.

damnet man i hate those things, im 6,5" and the smallest spider and im screaming. although i cant help gawk at the quality of the pic, wish i knew how to take pics like that

nengun is around the same price, so if u paid 1/3rd where did u get em? and can u still get em?

greddy plenums only support aroun 400whp???? i thought it be alot higher, plazmamans plenums (direct bold for neo) support 1000+ i believe, although the price is that high aswell lol

How Much Boost Can Stock Internals Take
R34NRG replied to SL1D1N's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
"highflowing" a turbo basicly means making the housing bigger, the turbine stronger so it can make more boost which means more hp for ur car. atm skylines come which ceramic turbines which will shit itself under high boost. as far as forgies go, anywhere between 250-300+rwkw. depending on how well u take care of ur car and a million other reasons. but the general rule of thumb is anything 270-280 i think. -
if u call $80 for a peice of plastic that holds water cheap............ go to ur local super cheap buy a universal bottle washer for $18 does the same shit
-
quite a interesting thread as ive just put my car in for a simliar setup, as stated above i dont think a .62 housing will meet 500rwhp. im going to be running a 3.0L setup for the extra torque, so wat do u guys recommend diff wise for mainly street use. occasional drag. also jason did u modify a gtr greddy plenum to fit the neo? i dont believe there are any bolt on greedy plenums

realli??? i wasnt aware of that? the gtr bar sticks out quite a bit, shaving and bending a bar so much i would of thought it would cause alot of stress to the bar making it very weak. but if it does the job then npz i guess lol. i havnt realli aligned a gtr bar onto a gtt but im aware its a big diff in size about it being east bear or not, wat i was trying to say is i cant tell, because ive never seen em in person, but u never know if its a custom one off or something u no? thats why i said ud be the best person to find out if it was or not since u have one.
-
its not OEM, its still got standard GTT guards so its impossible to be OEM. if they were OEM the front bar wouldnt even fit on the car with the narrow gtt guards. the question is if the front bar is a East Bear(ud have the best bet of telln ss8) or some jap copy.

can arrange give us a few days. im lazy lol mate read the 1st post. they 8" and the tyres are up above mate u should see these things polished up, they look immac. ive bought this metal polish from autobarn (about 20bux) and i used a buffer and they shine like chrome wheels. the wheels are pretty much immac, but with any type of wheels u drive on the road they get the usual small scratch from rocks on the road. but they are honestly impossible to see. but they are there. like i said i consider them IMMACULATE correct
