I've heard it said before that we often drive to our internal speedo of the surrounding conditions and when an overtaking lane starts, the road feels wider and "less scary" so people speed up. I think some people are either crap drivers and pay no attention to surroundings or they are doing it to slow down hoons and help society. It's completely inconsiderate. This happens far too often and is the worst thing about long weekends on the road. On a day to day basis doing 200+km on the Forrest hwy I see the difference in attitudes of others depending on which car I take. SUV and ute- nobody notices me coming Accent- everyone insists on passing then slows down then repeats after I pass again. Skyline- only falcadores and luxury sedans speed up as I get close then slow down if I pull in behind

morning all bluff knoll has caught up and my calves are sooo sore.

yep my lot were out cold most of the drive back... no traffic tho so made it easier. avg speed from albany to bunbury was 98km/h. considering we were only doing 60/kmh to mt barker shows nothing go in our way after

Yeah it snows at bluff knoll usually in august. It's not for the faint hearted. Don't let the fact Aiden made it seem easy. It's an insane angle of never ending steps. I'll upload photos tomorrow night when we get home

We were talking today about going for a trip through denmark tomorrow, but I think there is too much to do between denmark and Walpole so we will have to do a separate trip down for a few days

Big day mate, Climbed bluff knoll this morning. Both kids made it up without being carried. I carried Aiden down most of the way as it was very slippery. (1h55 up, 1h30 down) Few beers and lunch back at our van, out to the gap etc. top of the big hill in town. Now cooking dinner. Busy but rewarding
