this is probably a very well noob question but can you just install your pfc and leave it in there without a tune?

mm driving to reece had me thinking, the way it is now i cant make up my mind, im guessing i would probably end up saying ohh i wish i didnt go with this decicion blah blah blah, im not really going to be looking at a house, but as of now mayb just leave it in the bank till i can make a decent resonable decision, and when i think about it the car i have now is decent enough dont ya think lol

i just went out and bought a screw in nipple for my fmic piping, now what do i do? do i just drill a hole and screw it in? or will i have to do other stuff aswell to prevent leaks etc, i did a search for fmic nipple but came up with nothing, there are 100's of just fmic threads but dont quit explain it properly. any help appreciated sam

well my nanna left me a bit of money to spend on what makes me happy the most when she passed away, hence why im not spending the money on investments etc i was pretty set on an s15 but after reading bulk info on them i dont know if i want one lol so the next idea was to think about getting an r34 gtt, they look aggressive and get decent power out of them, or another idea i was thinking about was just putting all the money straight into the car i have now to make it faster i still have a bit of time to decide so your input would be great. and yes i know, why should i be asking everyone for their opinion when im going to be the one driving the car and spending the money etc but just tell me what you think anyway

i was in the same position not too long ago, after reading a few comments i decided to go with the BOS importing one, as i didnt have enough money to get it professionally installed i decided to give it a go my self, everything lined up 100% with no problems at all , the overall construction/welds on the split dump pipe was awsum and made a huge difference to my car, best mod iv bought yet

lol i ended up getting this at the place i least expected, found out that "clark rubber" sold it, i think it was 10 bux a sheet and thats all i needed id say you would be able to see the flash at about 90% as apposed to the 100% stock gave so it is still plenty visible

heya, yeh i forgot to add that i changed the bulbs to orange ones to keep it legal, actually one of them had an orange one in and the other one didnt lol as for the shadow spray, yeh you could probably do that, i personally havnt given it that much thought as i am happy with the result for now lol

theres something about that colour that makes me tingle inside nice ride

ok people this is how i did mine i also hated the orange lens what i did after trying some ideas was too buy some smoked acrylic sheeting at first my idea was too just replace the orange lense with a clear one but after taking off the fog light cover it was apparent that they wernt the same, pic attached i took the fog light cover off and ended up smashing out my orange lenses because they were glued on or sumthing lol i then cut the smoked acrylic sheeting into the same shape as the orange lenses, i then put them in place and used small screws and screwed them inplace, now there is no more orange lol oh and if any of you have sent me a pm in the past and i didn't reply i apologize lol i get heaps quit a few pm's asking me how to do this that i loose tack here are some pics of how it turned out, although they arnt clear they are better then orange

sorry to bring this question up but im installing a FMIC myself and it doesnt have the nipple, were do you buy these from and how do you tap into the piping, is there welding involved or sumthin? cheers

geez iv sed this many times to myself but the colour is absolutely awsum, the black top and orange bottom makes it so hawt im jealous and the rims also fit in very well with the scheme of this, keep up the good work

my mate has one on his wrx, or so he tells me!, dunno how much power his car is putting out but it does 13.1 secs down the QM and the clutch is doing very well

yes this disconnects your hicas altogether, and you will most definatly need a wheel alignment after wards
