  1. C'mon Josh, only up to 5 pages mate
  2. here's then Nengun kit
  3. Hey Nathan, Is that actually Nissan adapter and did you find it in Aus ? I've only found one for Subaru/Mazda that looks like that.
  4. It mostly shudders when I back off at 3-5 psi Here's the adapter I have. It puts the vent up or down, not to the side where it needs to be. Nengun sell one for the RB25DET with all the holes in line.
  5. Mutt, The Nissan adapter faces the return either up or down. Meaning I'll need an elbow off the bov, down hits the engine, up bonnet won't close. Haven't dry fitted yet but it doesn't look good. I'll have to make my own adapter I think like this one.
  6. no, only have stock kpa gauge. had shudder before too with the stock turbo
  7. sorry, wrong wording. no, in front down onto the pulleys and belts. engine still unopened. looked for a solid 45 mins with a torch. not under the car or on the underside cover. still nowhere to be seen. hopefully won't drop or jump up into the pulleys when its going. yep, magnet definitely on my shopping list
  8. search ferrari brakes on google and try and find one pic of a smooth rotor here's one chick that does dig cross drilled anyway
  9. where do you live man
  10. Funny I did research before I bought them. Nothing about noise/feel just positives on cooler rotors and pads. My stockers were slotted fronts and did the same thing, I thought is was shit pads. I didn't buy them to look cool, just went on performance forums opinions. Have you ever heard a girl say "mmmmm, slotted rotors... I think I wanna sleep with you." I haven't..
  11. Dropped a spring clip into the engine and can't find it.
  12. Just fitted new slotted and dimpled rotors with QFM HPX pads Also had the Brembos fully serviced. Awesome braking. I have a slight whirring sound and pedal feel when they are hot. Hoping this is just still symptoms of bedding in, and not something that comes with dimpled rotors... Anyone noticed the same ?
  13. Yer, well my Turbosmart Kompact still shudders with the soft spring and I'm pretty sure it's opening on boost too. Seem to have varying spool / boost levels There was better spool with the standard spring. The shudder is on pigeon sound, which means the BOV ain't releasing enough at low boost The FV series valves are supposed to open more on vacuum than single spring types. Worth trying , especially if it reduces strain on the shaft, and stops me spilling my coffee. These are selling for over $400 from some sellers. Scored one for $145 Just waiting on a 29mm recirc adapter from Nengun. The trumpets unscrew and the adapters fit all three models. See the fake has silver retainer ring on the base. I also noticed the Greddy sticker is shit on the fake too. The spring is way harder to push in and you can hear it grind when it travels. I sent pics to Greddy, they confirmed it was a fake. Looking inside the genuine one, the difference in quality is huge. See how it goes.
  14. I couldn't decide which colour to go for so I've decided to keep both and twin turbo the VQ25DET That should get rid of the shudder Australias first twin turbo M35
  15. hey maybe we should rename this thread to " What have you hidden from your missus lately " so far I've done high flow, ( she knows that one but not the total cost ), brakes, rotors, pads, bov, boost t and sway bars. sitting in my cupboard I have two Greddy BOV's, new set of plugs, intake coupling and clamps, new fuel pump and strainer, an AMPerformance intake with heat wrap, and lastly an E-Manage Ultimate in a box. Add it all up and it's a holiday to Thailand. if she knew I'd be a f**king grease pop.
  16. haha, if it comes to that, I'll use it thanks. last service was trans fluid change, came back with sways bars front and back too, just between you and me
  17. Brembos front and back Let's see how long it takes for my wife to notice these...
  18. yep bolts were loose, but you couldn't tell until the car was up on the hoist. put some Brembos on while we were at it. got that one past the wife ..
  19. Having breakfast at Shoal Bay Friday morning, saw a silver M35 slowly purr quietly past the main drag. Nice.
  20. hmmm yeah I guess, bit I'm seeing all the coolers mounted in front of the radiators. I think these engines need all the cooling they can get. I'm surprise how hot the engine bay is after every drive. I do have space though next to my stock FMIC.. Why do I feel like I have a gun to my head now..
  21. An article I was reading suggested a 50 - 60 % bypass with the bypass duct less restrictive than the AFM duct.
  22. I'm pretty sure it's a fake. No way I'm fitting it with metal shards coming off. Greddy website has a warning on the RS models. This FV has all the same things wrong/ different as in the pictures. Paid $97 including Nissan adapter plate. Others are selling it for $360 Don't say it
  23. AAAARRRRRGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Just got my new Greddy BOV FV. This came out of it. Really rough inside, cut your finger easy. Valve is very very hard to push in by hand, even when sucking on it. Retainer ring on the bottom isn't gold. Silicone tube doesn't have Greddy logo on it and is smaller OD. You know what I'm getting at. Seller more than happy to refund and pay for return postage. Phew. Ok Scotty, I'll wait for the tune mate.
  24. Anyone tried a bypass duct and then recalibrated the AFM output load points to suit? Haven't come across it anywhere..
  25. why is a trans cooler so important ? not planning on tracking or dragging mine.. can't the trans handle a lousy 220awkw without shitting itself ?
